The NACS to CCS adapter (Tesla to CCS1) is a powerful charging solution designed to give Rivian, Ford, GM, Volvo, and other CCS1 EVs access to Tesla's Supercharger network. With a 500A/1,000V rating, it supports ultra-fast charging, making it an excellent choice for EV owners who frequently travel in areas with limited CCS1 fast chargers. One of its biggest advantages is the plug-and-play simplicity; no extra setup is required, just connect and charge. Additionally, its IP65-rated, high-grade thermoplastic build ensures durability and resistance to harsh weather conditions, making it a reliable, long-term investment. However, it is slightly bulkier than expected, which may make storage inconvenient for some users. Despite its impressive specifications, Supercharger compatibility remains a concern. While it works with V3 and V4 Tesla Superchargers, older V2 stations may not support it, leading to potential charging availability issues. Another drawback is the limited software integration; unlike Tesla vehicles that provide detailed real-time charging data via the Tesla app, CCS1 EV owners might have to rely solely on their vehicle’s interface. Moreover, although the adapter supports 500A charging, some CCS1 vehicles cannot take full advantage of this speed due to their own internal charging limitations, which means users may not see the maximum advertised charging rates.Overall, this NACS to CCS1 adapter is a game-changer for CCS1 EV owners needing access to Tesla's extensive charging network, especially in areas where other fast-charging networks are sparse. Its high power rating, durability, and ease of use make it a strong recommendation for long-distance EV travel. However, users should be aware of Supercharger compatibility limitations, potential charging speed reductions, and software integration issues. If you primarily rely on CCS1 charging stations or do not need Tesla’s network, this adapter may not be essential. Still, for those looking to expand their charging options, it is a valuable and future-proof solution.

I thought this adapter might arrive and be a cheap piece of plastic that would fall apart quickly. I was wrong! This adapter has some heft to it - it weighs a lot and that gives me confidence that it will hold up to rolling around in the trunk or being dropped. When charging, I haven't noticed any overheating and the charger hasn't stopped because of thermal issues. The charging rate is what I expect based on the Supercharger I am using. This is a good value!

This connector empowers non-Tesla EVs, for example, my Rivian to charge at Tesla Superchargers. It works well and opens the Tesla charging network. Have not had any issues charging my vehicle at the station. Cuts right on and charges at great speed. I keep one in my frunk consistently now in the event that I really want the superchargers. am extraordinarily content with this thing and its ideal show. It's one more importance of the word solace. I would propose that everyone pick one of these up. I've seen that things as of the best quality that anybody could expect to find from my pays off of Amazon. This is by far an especially built quality frivolity that I would recommend to anyone. Works impeccably with my 2024 Hummer EV. Very connection and-play with no leeway in charging or silly power from the real connector. A verifiable necessity for non-Tesla owners - basically make sure to ensure that the Tesla supercharging station obliges charging for your vehicle.

Good quality, easy to use, and open a huge amount of charging possibilities when travelling, as the Superchargers are by far the most common charging stations in the country. It comes in a nice hard case. So far so good.

This adapter is actually pretty great. The charging speed is as advertised. Use is simple and is basically plug and play. Storing it is simple and no problem. It has a solid build and a secure fit to both my vehicle and the power cord.

If you travel at all with a GM vehicle with a CCS port, you need this adapter.I've tried numerous level 3 charge stations with our Chevy Bolt and Honda Prologue, and it's hit or miss, usually miss. Broken chargers, unable to start chaging, slow charging speeds, you name it.This adapter solves all those problems. Just pull up to a compatible Supercharger, plug in the adapter, plug in the Supercharger cord, hit start, and you're at max charge rate within seconds. Just phenomenal. No charging network beats the Supercharger system, and this adapter is exactly what I needed to connect both of my cars.I really like the one touch release for both the CCS and NACS ports. It's large and easy to handle even with gloves, and easily disconnects when the time comes. No notes, five stars, highly recommended.
