The reason I had to get this battery is that my laptop (7 yrs old) said the original battery was failing. This replacement battery fit perfectly into my laptop which is an HP Pavilion - 15-cc178cl. Let battery charge and then followed instructions after installation to allow battery to drain and recharge three times for optimum battery performance. Been using laptop daily with AC power since and no issues with battery.

The battery fit fine but does not hold a charge. The battery only lasts a couple of hours when in use. I turned my computer off with an 84% charge and when I tried to turn it back on two days later it wouldn't start, I had to plug it in to start it. When it did start back up, the battery had drained to 13% while off. I would not recommend this battery and certainly would not buy it again if needed.

This battery isn't a original HP, yet it's working just fine. I installed it myself and the computer accepted new battery, without a flaw. I even purchased extra memory and installed that too.

Wife's HP was almost unusable due to worn out (swollen) battery. HP offered no solution other than the purchase of a new HP laptop. Found this replacement battery and it goes in easy and WORKS! My wife's HP laptop is running like new. Shame on HP for not offering a simple battery replacement.

I have a HP Pavilion 15-cc0xx, (6+ years old) that needed a battery replacement. I've been getting errors telling me that the battery was going bad, so I searched how to fix the issue. This TF03XL Battery was exactly what I was looking for to solve the whirring fan issue + a charge that wouldn't pass a certain percentage point...and so much more.This product comes in a small box with an instruction manual + two tiny screw drivers to help if needed to remove the back cover of laptop. Absolutely helped make the process easier. I recommend watching video tutorials on how to safely install the battery onto your laptop.Hopefully the battery on my laptop lasts another few years, but so far, this product is everything I needed and so much more. Will update if needed.
