This AmeraLabs TGM-7 set completely transformed my miniature printing results. The detail capture exceeds any other resin I've used - capturing even the finest textures like leather straps and chainmail that lower quality resins merge into blobs. The slightly higher viscosity provides exceptional layer adhesion without sacrificing detail. But what truly sets this resin apart is the durability - these miniatures are nearly unbreakable. I've accidentally dropped finished pieces on concrete with zero damage beyond a small scuff. The post-cure surface finishes perfectly for painting with no tackiness or finger impressions. The four-color starter set gives excellent versatility for different project needs while maintaining consistent properties across colors. Yes, it costs more than budget resins, but the print success rate approaches 100% with proper settings, essentially eliminating wasted resin from failed prints. For serious miniature creators who value durability and exceptional detail, this premium resin is absolutely worth the investment.

Worked really well and gave me lovely colored prints. I used these to make new pieces for our game of Trouble because we had lost most of the pieces thanks to having kids and I made some other fun things as well that weren’t game related. Was easy to print with and easy to mix as well.

Lovely set of colors and comes with a quick mixing guide sheet for getting some additional shades and hues you can get from mixing the various resins. Prints very clean and crisp on my Saturn 2 and parts feel pretty durable after curing and definitely safe enough to use as miniatures for tabletop games if you so wish.

Amerilabs is known for very high end products, and these TGM-7 resins are no exception. They're overkill for my budget resin printer, but if you print a lot of miniatures - and especially if you print highly detailed items for sale - they're worth the high cost. The colors are bright, and you can mix them if you want to create other colors - although you'll need an appropriate bottle to store the mixed colors. They print easily and require a bit less exposure than the inexpensive resins I usually buy (print your own tests to dial in your printer). The detail is excellent, even on my cheap printer, and so is the durability once the resin is cured. Thin parts are somewhat flexible, so less likely to break during transport, but they will break if you bend them too far (so don't) and can take a while to return to their normal shape if they do get bent. For me, this resin is overkill, but if you need (or want) a high quality resin for highly detailed prints, you may be able to justify the cost.

I have never spent more than $20 on resin, and didn't see any reason to. I got this free (it costs 5 times more than my usual resin). I won't go back to my regular resin again (at least for miniatures). No fails so far, includes a color-mixing chart to get different hues and colors, great detail, cures quickly, and even thin parts are strong with just enough flexibility. I'm now a believer, and will definitely be getting more of this!

Clever system. By providing primary colors and white, you can make pretty much any color that you can imagine. You can also pause the print, adding other colors to create a little "ombre" effect. I did find that resulted in weird lines so I'm not sure how effective a strategy it is. The reality is that you really do have to measure. My efforts at "eyeballing" things resulted in my unintentionally creating colors that were similar but not exact when I ran out and needed more. I have to keep practicing, I think. The potential is here for a lot of possibility. Where I struggled is the cost. I'm accustomed to buying gray/black/white/clear resin for around $20-25 for 500g if it's a premium brand, or around $18 for 1000g if it's cheaper stuff. Generally speaking, those resins work pretty well for my purposes. I have cheaper 3d printers, so I encounter a lot of bed adhesion issues and failed prints. I don't want to waste money on consumables. This kit printed well, but I still had a couple failures which was the fault of the printer, not the resin. For a total of 1000ml, even with 4 colors, this was about 4 times more expensive than I'd normally buy. I didn't notice a performance increase that justified the cost. I think the brand is probably pretty premium, and there's probably justification in their specific material specs to explain this pricing, but my printers may not be worth the cost of this material. Glad I have it to mess with, and I'll probably combine them with other white resins I have to expand my ability to make colorful prints... but I cannot honestly say that I will be permanently switching because the cost is little out of my budget.

I'll just point to my other review of the 1k white TGM-7 resin to say "it's really good stuff," as far as printability. These proved just as good. The main draw of this set is the color mixing. This does have quite good color to begin with, and comes with a brief starter "card" to give ideas of ratios to mix to get other colors - it's basic color theory, after all, and probably something most of us were exposed to back in grade school. As useful as the color mixing is (which can, of course, be done with any sets of resin colors,) my main concern with this set is "... and what if you don't use all of what you mixed up?" Followed by "And what if you need more of that same color?" You'll need bottles or something to store unused resin in, and if it's one of these bottles, you will have some left over resin regardless of how much you try to drain it, which will slightly tint the color. So the set is great for color flexibility. It's just the "and what after" that you have to keep in mind, given uncured resin is toxic - you shouldn't pour it down the drain, after all. If you can go through this and/or consistently mix the colors you need, it's a decent resin set.
