From our houseboat across the main lake channel to my favorite fishing spot is a little over a mile. I put a double set on each side my Hobie kayak. My family can spot me easily at that distance! Blue is the best color to retain night vision while leaning over to net a fish. The ends tend to come up with use. A little spot of Gorilla Glue is an easy fix.

I use these in my off road vehicles and kayaks for night fishing as well as on my ebike down tubes for greater night visibility for being seen. They work great.
