This scale is inexpensive and lightweight but very accurate. It gets the job done. The weight I record on this scale often precisely compares with the scales at the post office and other couriers. What battery? I have been using this scale everyday for about two months and I have never changed the battery. When it is turned on it calibrates quickly, within seconds. After use, it automatically shuts down to save on physical and battery energy. The color is gorgeous!
