I found this drinking horn on sale, a great deal...maybe. I read all the reviews, especially the lowest ones, just seeing what I might be getting into. I'll preface this comment with, I have experience working with antler and horn. So I was ready for my "deal" to take some extra work. I gave it 5 stars, which is rare for me. You can see in the pictures that it's not perfect. There are blemishes, especially in the interior, but it does not effect the piece for what it is. There is no horn smell, there is no horn taste. I paid like $10 and this horn was a surprise. I was so worried, based upon some other reviews, that I ordered a second one of similar size and color, just in case. I measured the volume and it came in at exactly 10oz at the rim, but that's an accident waiting to happen. So call it a safe 9oz capacity horn. After a simple wash of hot tap water and dawn dish soap, she's ready for drinking. And oh, the wood cut circle coaster thing did not come with it. I was kinda hoping it might, but it's not a big deal. I hope my review helps. When the second one comes in, tomorrow, I'll review it as well.
