the light barely shows and the snow is the shaker type which considering the price I thought it should have a blower.

Snow globe looks good, music works, but no lighting or snow effect. We need our money back.

Beautiful, it’s very pretty but small and the music is not good. I would recommend it with the music c turned off.

The musical snow globe looks nice but the sound quality of the music box component was poor

The globe is beautiful and I love it. I collect snow globes and this one is a little cheaper made. The music sounds tinny and not quite right. It does look pretty on display. I have other globes that are better quality.

I have read negative reviews and was in a great hesitation, but the picture looked so detailed that I took a risk. Yeh, took a risk to my poor head! :)) This item has to be sold in a dollar store! The only shape is the same as picture. What is inside is microscopic and has absolutely nothing similar to what is on the picture. And yes, the money are huge!! Also, it was the most awkward packing for such item. Sending it back and not recommending at all!

The reason they do a quasi-drawing of the snow globe you'll be buying is because an actual photo would show the huge flaws in the product. First of all, the snow globe is displayed so it looks large and I would call it medium small (to be generous); the glass globe would easily fit in the palm of your hand. Secondly, the figures inside are not high quality; poorly painted (mine look like they were kicked in the face by the poor startled pony who has a very wide-eyed expression on his face), and third, the "snow" is clumpy and not in scale with the small scene, so that when you shake your snow globe, your poor sleigh and passengers are now in a deluge of chunky snow...not at all the gentle flakes seen drifting down in the photo. Finally, my number one biggest pet peeve (aside from air bubbles in my snow globes - which, amazingly, this does not have) is that electronic, tinny music. You would think that as small as this globe is that they would just put a wind-up music box on the bottom, but I guess they thought they were trying to give you your money's worth with an "electronic" music box. It's horrible. Even the dog did that, "what the heck" head tilt when I turned it on the first time. The pictures on the base are pretty and would be a plus if they rotated (they don't) and the house on the hill does light up, but it just sort of shows the imperfections instead of making you wish you were snuggled in the house waving your guests on their way instead of standing on the outside scratching your head wondering what the heck you were thinking spending way too much money on a crappy snow globe by a company that should be doing much better quality work. In my opinion? Much better things of higher quality out there!
