We got this because we always have left over bell peppers at breakfast. We already had a similar Hutzler onion holder, so got this to match. :)

The holder is great for a bunch of peppper slices (red, green,yellow), but not for any other foods. I tried to keep a 1/2 lemon from drying out, but it molded after 2 days. Very limited usage.

I love these...I have bough several now: they keep the pepper, onion, tomato fresh, does not smell in the fridge and it looks cute when I open the fridge. I have shown others and they love it to. Yes, you can buy at the grocery store, but these were less money (surprisingly) and with Amazon Prime, got it right away.

Get thing to use. Be sure to buy a green one the other colors mixed my men up. Also they do wear out in time-their plastic. Great Product.

We have several different vegetable savers by Gourmac. I loved the onion keepers because they were large and kept the cut onions from smelling up the fridge, so decided to try out the bell pepper saver. What I like about the onion and pepper savers is that I don't have to keep them in the fridge veggie bin. I can set these savers on any shelf in the fridge and they keep the cut onion or bell pepper from spoiling fast like they would in a plastic baggie rolling around in the fridge veggie bin. I immediately know that the savers contain a cut veggie and the bright containers are easy to spot in the fridge. Although the bell pepper saver is a nice size, it doesn't hold very large bell peppers so I have to keep the size of my peppers to a certain size when shopping at the market. Otherwise, a very wonderful product.

This not only works for peppers, but works for large apples as well. It stands out in the refrigerator to remind you that you've already cut an apple/pepper. Even if your refrigerator is packed full of leftovers, take a quick look where you store this container when it's empty, and if it's missing, you know it's in the refrigerator somewhere. It's also truly safe for the dishwasher's top rack. I had previously purchased a tomato saver unlike this design and it was not dishwasher safe as advertised. This design works well and cleans easily.
