I liked this axe, it has a comfortable and durable handle, the steel looks strong and high-quality, sharpened well. The axe has a cover on the blade, which is convenient for storage, when going camping.

Love this little hatchet. light weight, held up to daily use on a 2 week expedition. The only downside was the sharpening stone cracked in half the first use. Life happens and sometimes you just get a bad one. but as for the quality of the axe/hatchet you can't go wrong. Brought it home, sharpened it and soaked the handle in lindseed oil to keep it from absorbing water.

Great value, nice shape/weight for carving. Case fits really tight initially, but that great as leather tends to stretch. Wish it had come super sharp, but otherwise very pleased.

In the box you get the hatchet, 2 rubber blade covers, a leather sheath, spare wood widening bits, and a sharpening puck.When you first pick this hatchet up, you immediately feel the well balanced geometry of it. The weight distribution is perfect when you hold it at the base of the handle. It begs to be swung into an unsuspecting piece of dry timber.The blade is sharp, but doesn’t come razor sharp. If you want to get it sharper, then the included sharpening puck is easy to use. One of the rubber covers was already split when I received it, but I’m not that worried about that. Also be advised that the leather sheath only fits one way, and even when on and clasped, the tip of the blade does stick out a little bit.This hatchet is great for small camping trips and bushcraft. It’s a conversation piece and very high on the wow factor scale. It costs the same as a standard looking one that I bought a few years back, so I feel like I’m getting a huge upgrade for the same price.Overall this is a 5 star product for me because of the convenient size, the functionality, the completeness of the kit, and the impressive appearance of it.

I have been looking for a simple axe for camping, and this more than fits the bill. This is a solid axe, and it looks rugged and manly. I love it. Weighted very well, and the handle is beefy, so it seems like it is going to hold off for years. I love that it comes with a thick leather sheath for the blade. I will say, that my sheath is on the small size and doesn't cover the full length of the blade. I think it will fit better with more use and over time as the leather softens, but out of the box, there is about 1/8th of an inch of blade exposed. I don't think this presents a danger to me or anyone, just noticeable. I appreciate that it comes with a honing stone to clean off nicks and dings and keep the edge sharp. This is something my other axes lack. The head looks and feels like it is solidly fixed to the handle. So far, I have had no issues. Time will tell with further use. over all, this is an amazing axe. The aesthetics are top-notch! Looks alone make this a worthy axe to own! It rustic, stout, and functional. The only improvements would be a larger, more robust sheath with a belt clip (for when you are gathering your split wood and hauling it back to the campsite, you can clip it to your belt or pants and use both hands for hauling the wood) and a little more prominent blunted head opposite the blade for driving tent stakes, nails and the like. There is a little nub on the handle by the back blunted portion of the head, which sometimes gets in the way when using the back of the head as a hammer. I actually like the look of the nub on the handle, so it would be nice if the steel of the back to the blade head was more prominent so one could use it as a hammer and not worry about hitting the handle nub. overall, I'd give this axe a 8 or 9 out of 10!

Bought two as Christmas gifts. One axe head is loose and neither axe sheath fits at least an inch too small.

Not sure how the blade will take an edge yet but this is a super cool axe/hatchet that is not lacking in quality. For the price especially, its awesome. I'd carry it hunting or camping easily. I didnt want a fake tool. Bought it for a costume, loved it, will use it for practical purposes too.

The appearance is very nice, the weight is good, very sharp. Only disappointment, the sheath does not fit, will not snap.
