I love these bottles! They do not break even when they fall on my cement floor from 3-4’ high.I can have hot or cold drinks. They fit perfect in the hand and there is no aftertaste of metal or plastic not to mention the toxins.Perfect bottles that fit in my car cup holder

I find these bottles to be great! I bought them for my home made creamers and they are perfect. The lids are plastic and I wish they were a screw-on metal lid, but I decided to give these a try and they are not all flimsy as I was expecting based on some peoples' reviews. They do not leak, I have washed them several times in the dishwasher in the silverware rack, and so far they are good. The jars themselves are nice, thick glass, and they arrived perfectly. Its too bad some people had bad experiences - I almost didn't buy these because of that. But I took a chance and I am glad I did.

I bought these bottles for keeping my homemade dressings in the refrigerator as well as iced tea or iced coffee. They are pretty thick and heavy, and I would not want to carry them in a purse or backpack, but they would be strong enough to handle it if that is a goal. Yesterday I took my bottle of dressing from the fridge right before dinner and gave it a good shake to mix it up. Yes, the cold bottle was wet, and my full pint of dressing slipped from my hand while I was giving it a good shake. As it hit my hard kitchen floor, I expected to be cleaning up ranch dressing and broken glass while dinner got cool. It was fine. It hit the floor and did not break, and the lid did not even leak. There is no way that any cheaper jars or bottles would have saved me that mess. I never worry about these in the dishwasher either. The bottles go wherever I can keep them straight upside down, top or bottom shelf, and the lids go in the tableware basket. Well done, Dairy Shoppe.

These bottles are just the right thickness that make you feel secure that they will not break easily. The lids are of good quality also. What I didn't know when I purchased these is that the lids are not attached to the bottles when delivered, but are in the box with the bottles because the lids will be safety sealed once put on the bottles. When I put on the lid, it secures it to the bottle like a lid should do but in addition it has a little safety seal on them. Like with milk jugs you have to rip off the little plastic thing before you can open the milk jug which shows it hasn't been tampered with. These lids have the same thing. I was using these to put hot cocoa or jelly beans in them for a gift basket and I like that when the recipient will go to open the product it will have this safety seal. It looks as though I purchased the jelly beans or the cocoa with the jar. So much better than putting than those metal lids that have no safety seal. As I said....quality bottles

My primary need was a glass bottle for the chocolate milk I take to work every day (plastic trends to hold the milk smell too easily) and also something I could take sweat tea to work as an occasional treat (why my old plastic options smelling like milk wasn't working for me)I haven't dropped a bottle yet, but I've been pretty rough tossing my bookbag on top of it in the car, shoving it in to the cup holder, forgetting to rinse it out when I got home for the night, etc. It's held up pretty well...It just barely squeezes into the car cup holder. If I stop suddenly, it goes flying, BUT normal driving, it stays pretty well.It IS NOT LEAK PROOF... If you turn it on its side, you will have chocolate milk (or your beverage or choice) on your car seat or all over your stuff if you toss the freshly emptied bottle in your bookbag. A quick tilt, slip, a short shake, or bumpy walk to the car, it holds up well against spills and leaks, (there will be liquid all over the rim when you remove the lid)... just don't let it sit on its side. The lid is plastic and snaps on - it does not screw on which would have probably reduced the risk of leaks. It washes easily. There's been a couple times I forgot and let a bottle sit over the weekend with unrinsed milk remnents, but it cleans pretty easy with a soak in hot soapy water. I haven't had to scrub them yet, I always throw them in the dish washer (even the lids - in the silverware bin)Aside from the leak, my only other complaint is also the lid... There's a one time seal on the lids. 3 of my 6 bottles the lids came on tightly, so the seal feature was pointless as out was already broken from me removing the lid the first time... Being that the lid is plastic, you can't hermetically seal the bottles safely, so the seal was pointless if you're trying to sell stuff in these bottles... I have no idea why there was even a seal. Honestly it messes with my OCD about hoarding/keeping/maintaining every component of my posessions so it made me really angry to remove a piece of my reusable bottles and throw away.... But I'm just weird. The little white tab my thumb is pushing in the picture is the temporary seal. Also, I do need to use a funnel to fill the bottles without spilling anything.Overall, these bottles are fulfilling a need. They improved several areas from the plastic bottles/cups I had been using, so I'd buy them again.

I'm so impressed with these bottles! I spent way too long researching and searching for a glass water bottle. I finally found one that suited my needs and it was $25. Then I saw these... 6 for this price seems fishy. But the reviews looked good so I went for it.They are a good size for a smallish hand and feel very solid. The caps are well made and don't leak! That was my main concern, so I did a leak test as soon as I got them by filling one with water and shaking it like mad in every direction. Not a drop leaked, and the cap stayed secure!I always like to have a cup of water on my night stand, but sometimes a cat decides to knock it over, so one of these bottles will be useful for that. I also like to have water bottles and teas in the fridge that I can throw in my purse on the way out the door, so these will work wonderfully. Also they sell replacement caps, which is quite nice because I tend to lose things like that easily.Overall, I'm very happy with this purchase. These could be used for so many things, and I have a feeling I'll buy more at some point for a project or for organizing my cabinets.
