This is the perfect long denim skirt. The material is thick and has a nice structure to it. I like the classic dark color. I ordered it for my wife who is 5'4" and she felt like it was just the right length for her just above the ankles making it great for showing off cute shoes.Overall, I'm very happy with the "The Drop Women's Rylie Maxi Denim Skirt with Front Slit".

This long denim skirt is the perfect pick when you feel like wearing something other than pants or shorts. I love the long length and feel like it is cut to be slimming and flattering on multiple body types. The waistband is comfortable and has some give/stretch to it. I carry my extra weight in my stomach so I appreciate the extra stretch. There are belt loops on the skirt so you can make it fit more tightly and/or add a fun fashion accessory. I love that there are 5 pockets and plenty of places to put your phone, keys, lip gloss, etc.The fabric is thinner than traditional denim jean fabric, but it wears well and I love the hint of stretch to make it more flattering. The slit in the front comes up high. It goes above my knees (I am 5'1"), but it is sewn shut so it won't go higher. I sometimes wear biker shorts or tights under the skirt, but feel that it is modest enough to wear without.This skirt is very versatile and can be dressed up or dressed down. I love the dark wash and it is wearing well and hasn't faded, even with multiple washes.

This skirt is high quality, very forgiving and fits like a glove. I usually wear a large or xl and got - large and it’s perfect. I am in the process of losing weight and honestly the skirt is so good that it’s one I will either buy another in a smaller size or get this one tailored. If you are thinking of buying it, you won’t be disappointed

I picked this up to replace a skirt that had worn out.Pros:Dark Indigo optionFront slit goes to the knee for easy walking/sittingBasic skirt -- no weird ruffles or bedazzling or threadbare holesCons:The sizes are for apple shapes, not pears. I had to order my hip size, but the waist is so loose even a belt won't work. I'll have to alter to use as a wardrobe staple. This info is clearly stated on the size chart.The maxi is floor length on my 5'5" height not ankle length as shown.Overall a well-made wardrobe staple. After alterations, I expect many years of wear!

The material isnt as thick like true denim but it works great for girls who have a larger hip to waist ratio. Its warm enough for boots during the fall and winter but would work well in the spring. The slit comes up a bit high but the body of the skirt is loose enough that it doesnt pull away from the body. The top of the slip comes to just below my mid thigh and I’m 5’2”In terms of fit, I followed the chart and its a smidge loose in the waist but more fitted in the hips. Seems pretty accurate but its just not perfect thus the four stars. I just gave birth a few months ago so I do fluctuate a bit but on average right now my waist is around 28 inches and hips are around 38 inches and I got a medium. I probably could swing a small due to the stretch but this is going to be more comfortable especially with a cute belt.
