The hair falls out very easily on most of these meat whistles and spins around the head and gets itself hooked. I can’t recommend these flies, but they are nice to look at.

Bought these to go after some lake bass and pickerel. Be aware that they are a lot bigger & bulky than most flies I was used to. Felt like I was casting a wet blanket and they whistled when flying by. Probably shortened my cast by 10 - 20 ft from the kayak. Might not have anything to do with the quality and more my casting ability, these might be perfect if I were to use them to troll with.
