This is my 4th book of this set. They have a great layout of decor & yummy recipes. If I could have Only this complete book group set I'd be happy as they have a Great selection in a variety of foods from appetizers, desserts to main courses. They have it all.

I was disappointed in the book. Although I loved volume one of The Gathering of Friends, I didn’t find anything new or exciting in this volume.

I own all of these cookbooks, and they're simply beautiful. The photography and design are so well done that you might occasionally just browse through them. The recipes aren't overly difficult and don't require hard-to-find ingredients.

If you want a picture book, ideas, tablesettings and recipes this is for you and they are lovely. I purchased all of the 6 books and they are a wonderful addition. I gave one as a Christmas gift at a exchange and all of my friends so enjoyed looking at it but only one was able to enjoy it in her home which she proudly displayed.
