These are decent quality soft rubber shims, but not what I needed. I saw someone mention they could be used as toilet shims, and I’m here to say that I don’t agree. Because they are such soft rubber, you can’t wedge them under anything (a wobbly toilet in this case) because they’ll just scrunch up. I’m not returning these, I will hold onto them because I’m sure they will be useful in other applications such as any place where perhaps I need to dampen a vibration. Just know that these are not hard rubber, they are very soft.

I was expecting a single large shim with the given dimension of 5.5 x 3.8 x 0.8 inches. This turns out to be the size of a package containing 6 small shims, which will not serve my immediate need. They may come in handy for other applications though.

Plenty large enough. Cut them in half to make more.

like other person, i received a package of 6 tiny shim of 1 x 2 inch instead of one shim of about 5 x 2 inches. i am not the only one that this error happened

The item decription says:Product Dimensions : 5.5 x 3.8 x 0.8 inchesItem Package Quantity: 1Instead, I received a package with 6 shims, each approximately 2" x 1" x 1/8". I also thought they would be made out of hard plastic, but they are made of soft rubber. They won't work for what I had in mind, but for the price, returning them is too much of a hassle and they might be useful for something else anyway.
