A great soundtrack all the way around. I love Ellie Goulding’s “Mirror,” Christina Agiulara’s “We Remain,” and Of Monsters and Men’s “Silhouettes” the best. But most of the songs are amazing. I love it.

Me gustó mucho, ya que me siento como en el 2013 de nuevo.Viene bien sellado, las esquinas un poquito maltratadas.Aunque el precio del disco si es algo elevado ya que me costó $400.00 pesos mexicanos.

This is a set of 2 Beautiful heavy weight printed vinyl records, with colour pictures of lead actors printed within the records. It's a high quality audiophile vinyl pressing. The songs and music are enthralling, performed by famous artists. However, It did not come with an outer cover, so for list of songs see Amazon US. Also, vinyls were badly scratched, dusty, smudged, possibly used stock given. Causing crackles and pops frequently. Played on a moving coil cartridge.

Love it! Made the mistake of ordering the original screenplay soundtrack thinking it was this one but it is good too so I kept it. Ordered this one because I heard and LOVED the Coldplay track Atlas in the movie and the whole CD is great! Fast and efficient service as always from Amazon.

Best soundtrack I've heard in a long time: Catching Fire DELUXE Edition Soundtrack. Before I listened to this CD I would have picked Cold Play and Lorde as my two favorite songs since of all the artists on this CD theirs is the only music I've bought in the past. After listening, I realized their two songs are my least favorite. That’s how enjoyable the other songs are. They are all full of raw emotion, soul, and most of all, heart. There is something very solid and fluid about how most of these songs meld together.I rarely read the small writing about who produced each song & etc. But I had to know. Someone is responsible for the wonderful work done on this well-crafted soundtrack. My guess is Brian “Big Bass” Gardner at Bernie Grundman’s Mastering. It’s as if Brian “Big Bass” Gardner who mastered most of these songs had a picture on his wall of Katniss Everdeen in her dystopian world on his wall or on the walls when some of these songs were recorded to get into The Hunger Games "mood."Here are the songs in order of PLAY:1) COLDPLAY – ATLAS(My least favorite in this soundtrack; I prefer, Fix You, Yellow, Trouble, Clocks, The Scientist, In my Place, Til Kingdom Come)2) OF MONSTERS AND MEN – SILHOUETTES (Beautifully sung)3) SIA featuring THE WEEKND and DIPLO – ELASTIC HEART(Can't stop singing the chorus "You did not break me" over and over - The Weeknd adds to the song)4) THE NATIONAL – LEAN(This is now my favorite song of theirs after I NEED MY GIRL)5) CHRISTINA AGUILERA – WE REMAIN(I dreaded this song until I heard it. Once I heard it and lifted my jaw from the floor, I had to admit I liked it. Dare I say; I love it! She actually SINGS this song instead of showing-off that annoying warbling thing she & Mariah Carey do way too often.)6) THE WEEKND – DEVIL MAY CRY(Wow, I had no idea he could sing this well. I got chills from the start)7) IMAGINE DRAGONS – WHO WE ARE(Oh those wonderful drums - This is now my favorite song of theirs after DEMONS)8) LORDE – EVERYBODY WANTS TO RULE THE WORLD(Different. I prefer every song in her HEROINE album to this)9) THE LUMINEERS – GALE SONG(Song grew on me. Now I love it. THIS is the song that Cold Play should have sung.)10) ELLIE GOULDING – MIRROR11) PATTI SMITH – CAPITOL LETTER(Love it –she sings with so much raw emotion!)12) SANTIGOLD – SHOOTING ARROWS AT THE SKY(Love it – at first I thought I heard Gwen Stefani, then Karen O, but turns out she was born as Santi White & been around long enough to release her 3rd album titled 99¢)13) MIKKY EKKO – PLACE FOR US(Probably my favorite song on this soundtrack; He also did a duet with Rihanna titled STAY. Love his emotion-filled voice on both songs)14) PHANTOGRAM – LIGHTS(Love it - Have to give it to them for introducing me to this soundtrack)15) ANTONY AND THE JOHNSONS – ANGEL ON FIRE(Probably my favorite song at this moment; something very haunting about this song that just grabbed me and made me feel. Strange song; But the good kind of strange – as in unique and oh-so-beautiful and heart-wrenching)What a windfall when I stumbled into this soundtrack.I was listening to Phantogram and noticed one of their songs was on this CD but only on the Deluxe edition. Very glad I got all 15 songs because the last few songs only available on the Deluxe edition are my favorites.

Okay, first off, I'd like to say.It shipped fast, and came within a few days of ordering, though I live in the same state as where it shipped from, so that was nice.It was also in good condition, I saw no scratched, the art on the case and booklet were also nice. However it didn't have lyrics inside, but that's fine.I like it, but the only thing I don't like is that it came in one of those bio-degradable cases.. I like the idea of it, but I prefer the cases made of plastic..I had read in so many reviews that it didn't have 3 of the songs, which is fine. I can just buy on itunes later, but still, kinda sucks. The reason I gave it a four, is I looked in case they mentioned something about the case that I overlooked by mistake. But I saw nothing.Would've been nice if they had mentioned that.. I still like it regardless, but yeah.

I like a wide range of music and totally LOVE almost anything to do with The Hunger Games, so keep that in mind for my review. The record has several gems; of which, Mirror (Ellie Goulding), Everybody Wants to Rule the World (Lorde) and Who We Are (Imagine Dragons) are my top favorite three (in that order).Solid songs (that I don't typically fast forward through) include, in no preference order: Atlas (Coldplay), Silhouettes (Of Monsters And Men), Elastic Heart (Sia), Shooting Arrows at the Sky (Santigold), Lights (Phantogram), Devil May Cry (The Weeknd), and Angel on Fire (Antony and the Johnsons). Christina Aguilera's song (We Remain) is good and I can appreciate the musicality of it, but I have to be in the mood for her HUGE voice. The National's "Lean" is tolerable in the car, but the deep almost Elvis Prestley type effect on some of the vocals really bug me while listening with my headphones (I'm NOT an Elvis fan, sorry). This leaves us with the songs that have fallen to the bottom of my list... Place For Us (Mikky Ekko), for no real reason other than it just doesn't catch me; Gale Song (The Lumineers), again this is probably just 'cause of personal preference; and Capitol Letter (Patti Smith). This last song (Capitol Letter) really bugs me 'cause it's overstylized or something. The lyrics are pretty cool and the guitar work is amazing, but Patti does this over the top hippie something to it that just destroys the song for me.

Well, I purchased for my daughter and she says on FB how much she loves the CD "Catchiing Fire" She just turned 32 and I also picked this up for her because she purchased me a ticket to the premimum of THG "Catching Fire". That night we talked by phone and commented on the movie that we both loved. I had seen this CD on Amazon and decided to preorder the earliest I could and she got in several days. At first, she said, Mom, no you can't get CD until the movie starts, but I informed her of the preorder and she was so happy, I was on top of the early out. Thanks Amazon, Me, I am an amazing mom at 68.

In the last soundtrack ( for The Hunger Games movie) we had Taylor Swift, The Civil Wars, Arcade Fire, Maroon 5, Birdy and a whole bunch of other artists, that were more unfamiliar to me, that produced a some really excellent songs. This time, for Catching Fire, the album again exceeds expectations and is, in my opinion, even more successful than the first because of the strength and diverse mix of artists. While the main attractions here seem to be Coldplay, Sia, Imagine Dragons and Ellie Goulding, it's really the artists that you and I probably haven't heard much of before that make the CD worth buying. The Weeknd and their song "Devil May Cry" is the highlight of the album, for me, and has a running time of over five minutes, which is a bonus. "Place For Us" by Mikky Ekko also stands out and is something fresh and new that voices the themes of the movie and emotions of the characters perfectly. Unfortunately, some of the most unique and wonderful songs can only be heard if you buy the deluxe soundtrack - which is a shame, really. But it's worth the money. The movie itself is much more spectacular than The Hunger Games, and the album definitely reflects this. And, if you happen to find you really enjoy this soundtrack and have seen the movie, it's worth taking a look at the Original Motion Picture Score by James Newton Howard, where you'll find some really amazing cinematic songs from the movie, such as "Katniss", "The Fog", and "Arena Crumbles".

I don't normally write reviews here on Amazon and especially about music albums, but I absolutely loved the selection of music. It ranges from a more country-pop (not sure the term) to alternative rock. Not going to go through song by song, but my favorites were: "Silhouettes", "Elastic Heart", "We Remain", "Who We Are" and even Lorde's "Everybody Wants to Rule the World" which I found to a great cover, though some might be put off. Also I should mention, I haven't seen the movie so this is coming purely from an outsider but look forward to see how some of these are integrated.
