I've seen these "indoor" balls before and I've always been skeptical, but this one looked sturdy enough and properly sized so I took a shot. It's not foam - it's a soft cover over a standard soccer ball bladder - so it has the right bounce and feel for goalie and juggling practice which was crucial for my kiddo. It's really well made, sturdy, and while it is much softer than banging an outdoor soccer ball off the drywall, it isn't so lightweight or soft that it loses all practice value. Great product for Midwestern athletes who find themselves practicing indoors all winter!

To start with the positive, the item arrived quickly, and the color is as described. I would not consider this an indoor toy as it is a padded ball versus what I thought was a typical foam type. It is a good size, the color is vibrant, and the padded Outside reminds me of a water splash ball. The ball did come, deflated, but did not come with a ball pump. Unfortunately, we do not have a pump with a needle to inflate the ball, so I will have to purchase one. It will get used, but I am too worried that it will break something inside.

You'll need a ball pump with a needle attachment to inflate this ball. It feels like a regular ball on the inside with a nice, soft cover on the outside. You have to kind of finagle the inside ball (the "bladder", if you will) to pull the walls apart for the air to go in. The ball seems to deflate a little after a handful of days of use but not considerably. That could also be due to me not inflating it fully (I did TRY to get it as fully inflated as possible but it did get to be a bit challenging). I won't let the kids use this outdoors like a soccer ball because it literally says "INDOOR BALL" on it. It doesn't have that hollow "ping" that the cheap plastic balls you get a the big box stores makes but, yes, it's a BALL. SO, there is some noise. I have had to warn my kiddos to be careful because things can still be broken by an indoor ball and that, just because it's an indoor ball, we can't get wild and crazy or we'll break something.It's a nice ball. Won't hurt as bad if someone gets hit in the face with it (like a kickball on the school playground- ouch!) but we don't play so rough anyway. My kiddos love the fun colors and the fact that it's soft. We took the ball with us to visit grandparents hours away this past weekend and everyone had fun rolling it back and forth (my kids are little).

My kids are obsessed! Both my girls play soccer and its been raining a lot here lately, plus winter is LONG. They constantly want to kick a ball around but I didn't want a real ball in the house. I saw this and figured we could try it. It is very soft, QUIET, and doesn't go as hard as a real ball. Easily inflated with a hand pump and I haven't had to refill it yet so it stays inflated pretty well. They love that they can now play a little in the house. It is slightly bouncier than a regular ball, but that is to be expected. Definitely seems durable. The colors match exactly to the photos.

This indoor ball is a blessing. It has helped soften the noise when my kids are practice in the house. Especially on those rainy days. The covering is soft to the touch, but the ball is firm enough to do some passes with. I haven't had to blown it up since the first initial so it really holds in the air well. This ball has been bounced off walls, couches, wood, furniture, and a lot more and it still looks good, while it doesn't do any damage to the items that its being played off from. It has a nice bounce to it. I recommend this ball and is worth it.

This ball comes with a nice amount of padding. I like these balls for kids in grades K-2 because they can kick the ball hard and when they get hit, it doesn't hurt. The padding absorbs most of the impact. But you still need them a little deflated. If you inflate them all the way the ball moves really fast and it can do a bit more damage. But with older kids they can handle it. It's definitely less painful than a regular soccer ball. It's also much more quiet than a regular ball, so juggling the ball isn't as loud. Good for working on soccer footwork indoors. It still has a good shape and firmness that you can juggle and dribble like a normal ball. Don't overinflate it as it starts to stress the stitching.

The ball is really pretty with vibrant colors. It was easy and fast to inflate. The outer part is a soft material, so it doesn’t seem like it would hurt if you were to accidentally get hit with it while playing. It rolls well, and it’s lightweight. My 2-year old niece was able to pick it up easily and kick it around. It’s a great ball for a kid!
