Our Company History

In 1928, at the age of twenty-two, Peter Beilenson began printing books on a small press in the basement of his parents’ home in Larchmont, New York. Peter - and later, his wife, Edna - sought to create fine books that sold at 'prices even a pauper could afford'.

Today, still family owned and operated, Peter Pauper Press continues to honor our founders’ legacy - and our customers’ expectations - of beauty, quality, and value.

I can never remember all my passwords so this is very useful for me. I like the spiral edge and the elastic flap on the side to hold it closed.

Great quality, lovely embossed cover, perfect size, passes as a notebook or diary (no title on cover to indicate password book). Particularly love the tabs.

E' uguale e più bella di quella che avevo, e che dovevo sostituire, in quanto di un bel colore rosso. Soddisfatto!!

I like that I now have organised my passwords etc in one place. The thing I would prefer but couldn't find is that it is bulky in my handbag. I would prefer something A6 size and much thinner.

It’s very pocketable and therefore small. Pages are not too firm to feel and are thin. Two alphabets like AB, CD etc have five pages each and each page have six data entry space and last couple of pages for Software data. I wish this booklet should have been little bigger and pages more firm. These are my initial thoughts.

Just what I needed. I was using a little notebook but it was impossible to find what I needed as it wasn't organized. This notebook is alphabetical, with a spiral binding inside so you can mostly lay it flat and tabs to find what you need more quickly. The cover is plain, so it sort of passes as "not a password book" unless someone opens it to see the front matter. There's only one line for the password, so if you have to change passwords often it's not good, the paper will hold up to some erasing but not a lot. There's 3 sections per page and 10 pages per 2 letters for the smaller size (as it says in the answered questions) so there's no issue with running out of space, though sections like ST are much fuller than YZ.

I am so much a fan of these books I have bought one now for Dad and Father in Law as well. The book is clear in how each entry section is set out. In this age of so many sites and passwords, this book is a great aid. I would say though that if you have a few passwords that you use, perhaps abbreviate the passwords to such as J2 or J*****2 that way should the worst happen you are still protected. I love the band that wraps over to keep the book secure and the spiral bounding. A great purchase!
