  • SIMPLE INSTALLATION: This pump mounts horizontal and MUST have the oil dipstick pointing up when mounted (the oil cap can be switched to the other side of the pump to allow for mounting in the opposite direction). Pump needs at least 6.5HP to handle PSI. Pump head CANNOT be flipped

Pressure Washer Pumps Compatible Brands

  • Many pumps are. However, compatible replacement options do vary depending on your pressure washer’s engine shaft diameter & engine orientation, the original pump’s bolt pattern, and your engine's horsepower.

  • Your original pump was likely a strap-style (or bow tie) pump. That style isn’t made anymore. However, you can remove the spline and use your model number to find a replacement pump that you’ll install directly onto the shaft with a keyway.

  • Our pumps do require a keyway for installation onto the engine shaft. If a keyway is pictured in the listing, it will come with one. If you need to purchase one separately, you can do so from our catalog.

  • Many of our pumps don’t require oil maintenance, but some models do need oil changes. Generally, pumps with an oil vent port will need regular oil changes. Pumps without that port are sealed units and don’t need oil changes.

Missing oil dipstick that was claimed to be with the pump. Other than that, it would bolt directly to a predator but in the description they’re not wrong about min 200cc motor.

The pump itself seems to work fine. I made one pre-install phone call to The ROP Shop and found a knowledgable human being at the other end. When I finally got to it I had a very difficult time removing the old pump (some difficulty is evidently normal), tried all the tricks shown in the youtube videos - managed to get it 1/2" from the motor and no more - soaked some WD40 in the shaft / keyway for 24 hours - then finally ran the motor which vibrated it free. Also the output fitting of the new pump if a metric thread and didn't fit my quick disconnect fitting. I'm willing to bet Rop Shop knows all about how to deal with this and has the parts - but I have a lathe at home and end up making my own.

Purchased this pump several weeks ago, and it came with no instructions. I am not mechanically inclined, and customer support provided me with basic installation instructions. Still had problems with installation; more instructions followed from support.Had to finally resort to local help from a local small engine specialist, who setup the pump properly.The pump is strong and provides sufficient pressure for my aging Excel GS 200.The quality of the pump is excellent, and I am looking forward to years of continued use.
