  • Depending on engine configuration, longer bolts and spacers (washers) may be needed to mount the pump properly—especially if the engine has a longer shaft or the pump legs hit the frame or engine. Failure to use spacers when needed can cause pump legs to break from stress. Spacers and longer bolts are not included but can be purchased at a hardware store. Common bolt sizes: (2) 5/16"-18 x 2-1/2", and (1) 5/16"-18 x 3-1/2"
  • This pump mounts vertical and is a rear facing (water inlets/outlets come out of the rear of the engine). Pump needs at least 5.5HP to handle PSI. Pump head can be flipped. Some models may require removing the pump to change engine oil. Please note it is not recommended to run any pressure washer pump above its maximum PSI rating. Doing so can result in damage to the pump (not covered by warranty) and/or serious bodily injury

Product Description

Pressure Washer Pumps Compatible Brands
  • Many pumps are. However, compatible replacement options do vary depending on your pressure washer’s engine shaft diameter & engine orientation, the original pump’s bolt pattern, and your engine's horsepower.

  • Your original pump was likely a strap-style (or bow tie) pump. That style isn’t made anymore. However, you can remove the spline and use your model number to find a replacement pump that you’ll install directly onto the shaft with a keyway.

  • Our pumps do require a keyway for installation onto the engine shaft. If a keyway is pictured in the listing, it will come with one. If you need to purchase one separately, you can do so from our catalog.

  • Many of our pumps don’t require oil maintenance, but some models do need oil changes. Generally, pumps with an oil vent port will need regular oil changes. Pumps without that port are sealed units and don’t need oil changes.
