This pump provides a plug-and-play fit to replace the failed original pump on my Ryobi 3,100 PSI gas pressure washer.I selected the 2,800 PSI pump due to it's observably better ratings when compared to the 3,100 PSI pump that was available at the time of my purchase, and because I've already a 3,100 PSI pressure washer in the inventory. The Ryobi PW was provided to me free, with a broken pump, and I just wanted to restore it to operating condition without unnecessary complication.I deducted one star from my rating because the key that was provided with the 2,800 PSI pump doesn't seat as securely on the engine's shaft as it could. The original, longer key on the failed 3,100 SPI pump wouldn't properly mate with/in the replacement pump, so I was compelled to use the key that was provided with it. Thus far, it's stayed in place as it should.

If your manual is going to say that it includes the hardware, quick connect and the key you shouldn’t sell it without it.

I purchased this item to replace a pump on a Homelite pressure washer I have had since 2013. I primarily use the pressure washer to clean my cars on the weekends, and this new pump failed in 3 weeks after only 4 hours of operation across 5 occasions. I advise to search elsewhere for a replace pump for your pressure washer.
