easy to use and shape with ease. Head to be about the easiest brake lines I ever installed to date .

I've replaced the rear brake lines on two Jeep Cherokees with this and have parts to spare. I ordered it again just to have it on hand when needed. Fittings thread perfectly and seem strong and the line is strong but easily malleable. Bent the first lines around a socket to get the correct curves on the first project, bought a bender for the second. Worked great both ways. Would definitely recommend.

I had to put new brake lines on a trailer. Was worried for the quality for the cost was great compared to others. Well unpacked the box and I tried flare tool first off and great. Bend perfect no kinks and flared easy. Finished up no leaks and looks great. The fitting kit that came with the tubing was a bonus and all the pieces I needed were there and worked perfect. I highly recommend this tubing kit

If you're using this for brakes, don't waste your time using the included aluminum hardware. Get steel hardware and do the job once, rather than the 3 times like I had to, because the aluminum hardware just wouldn't seal. Their coupling was brass, and worked fine, but the tubing nuts were a huge waste of my time. Not the company's fault, but just be aware of it when you get ready to cut and splice.

Great kit. Good selection of tube nuts included, which makes things easier than trying to figure out which ones you need. I used this kit on a '66 Ford Galaxie with a disk brake conversion. I was able to make new lines for the front and rear sections, as well as lines from the master cylinder to the combination valve. There is not quite enough for the mid section, so I ordered a second kit and now I have a good supply of tube nuts left over for spares.

I received the brake line kit very quickly and it as exactly as indicated, the quality appears to be first class but I have not started the process of making the flared lines. I do not have any worries that once I do start the project that it will go well. I have not done this type repair before but having good material to work with is key to having a good outcome. I would recommend this brake line kit to any that wants good service, good price and the included connectors that would otherwise be an extra cost if you had to buy elsewhere. Point of interest, I am working on a 94 chevy S-10 and you cannot buy the original brake line from GM. Making your own and doing the work yourself is about your only choice or paying big bucks to have some shop to do it for you.

Worked great for running new brake lines on my 1969 Chevy truck I'm building. Bent and flared easily. Bled the whole system and only had one fitting that seeped, tightened the fitting and no leaks whatsoever. Quality product and since all the fittings are included it made my life easy.TIP: I used a 2x4 and some roller wheels for a screen door from Lowes to straighten the line out.

1956 Ford Customline; I need to add disk brakes up front and re-plumb the entire car. The Stop Shop helped alleviate all frustration, and keep the brake line installation simple and easy. The fittings were top notch, I had enough line to do the entire car, and the quality was awesome. This review is after installing, running, and thrashing the brake line. Perfect amount of tubing, and fittings were top notch. You can't go wrong. Thanks!

This is a fine steel tube. Quite ridged, but small enough to be bendable mostly by hand. Arrived promptly and in excellent coiled condition from The Stop Shop, so I've placed an order for two more steel ones plus a cupronickel version from the same vendor. There are no obvious surface defects on the fitting threads, which is to say they were machined well.Magnets stick to it, as expected from steel. Although you need a microscope to see it, there is a tiny interior weld seem, common to hard steel tubing which can't be extruded in already formed tubular geometry. The exterior is uniformly round without the seem being detectable.I'm not using this tubing for a break line so can heat it without fear of annealing the strength away. In doing so, I've concluded that solder alloys with it well. Even low temperature 37%/63% tin/lead soft electrical solder can be used for an air-tight, low performance bond. 3% silver bearing plumbing solder works too for a bit higher strength (still a bad idea for break use though). I believe this tubing will work great for an inductively heated pneumatic air or gas heater. I want to vaporize gasoline or waste oil and preheat oxygen (before mixing) for an extra high temperature torch flame. The surface can be cosmetically polished to a mirror like sheen, although this will probably increase its susceptibility to oxidation as it will wear off any zinc protective plating that (most likely) is on it.As an engineer and maker, my only wish is that manufacturers and vendors would publish the exact alloy composition in order to predict its performance in advance of buying and installing it for non-break line applications.
