Great item, but I ordered the wrong size. I’ll use it some time.

When we restored Ocho five years ago the only fuel line offered by the restoration parts store was a copper line replacement. Fast forward three years and he started leaking fuel in the tunnel. Doing a web search, I found that one of the professional VW restoration shops recommended using 1/4 inch stainless steel fuel line. It was tougher to bend and route, but now it's installed and he no is no longer fuming up the garage. If you're doing an off pan restoration, do it right the first time. Go with this fuel line and not the copper stuff.

On our '62 Corvair project car, the old fuel lines were in pretty bad shape, and buying a complete set of new chrome lines for 4 carburetors was just too expensive. However, by buying the zinc coated bulk steel line and stainless steel nuts, I found a good compromise. First of all, the stainless is harder than the standard line nuts, and less prone to getting rounded corners from using the wrong wrench (you should always use "line" wrenches for these, but most people don't). Secondly, the stainless steel is almost as brilliant as chrome and I was able to polish the zinc line with mag wheel polish to a semi-gloss condition. Again, chrome lines and nuts would have been nice but, even with the cost of the stainless nut set, I saved over $200 on this job. Of course, you need a good double flaring tool and a decent tubing bender to complete the job properly (which cost less than $100 for both). If you have the right tools, nothing compares to the satisfaction of making the parts you need.

This tubing coil line works great! I am using this for a vapor line in my Trans Am. Straightens easily with inexpensive vise mounted line straightener, you can find that on Amazon, search for B07FFHSYM7.

Arrived on time today. Was here before 1pm,though it was listed on my 89 buick lesabre as 1/4 line to the filter. It's actually 3/8. It is 1/4 on other lines on the car, so i will be using it anyway.was very well represented buy the description and no problems with it in delivery. See how long it will last and write more later. Over all very satisfied with the product and delivery. Also if you need them, the SAE Brake Line Fitting Kit for Inverted Flares on 3/16 and 1/4 Tube are very valuable to have. They fit a good range of sizes. As many know now, most auto parts stores are not carrying a lot of the needed parts in store due to theft. The line fitting kit includes 1/4, 7/16, 1/2, 9/16 in on bag and in the other 3/8, 7/16, 1/2 and 9/16 in the other.the two bags should have everything you need for bolt in's. if you need compression fittings as well. Local hardware store or here.

All around great product. Bends fairly easily and flares pretty well with the inexpensive (not the best) flare tool I purchased from another company. I also purchased some 3/16" Nickel / Copper brake line from another company that bends very well but does not flare very well. I wish I would have bought the 3/16" zinc plated bake line from these guys. Price is also very good.
