Overall it's fine but couldn't see the value. The wood was OK but nothing amazing. Thinner pin diameter was OK but again, nothing amazing. Overall experience was that it's ..... well, just "OK" but didn't find anything "wow" to justify the price point.

This is such an easy rolling pin to use. It does look like a plain dowel because it's very long. This mattarello is smooth and is exactly as I need to roll out sfoglia when making pasta, larger pie crusts, and cookies.The quality is good, it looks attractive in my pantry and performs as needed. Highly recommend

So much more useful than typical fat American rollers, this reminds me of what my family used when I was a child. It is typical of Italian and French kitchens and much more broadly useful than the fat middle with handles design in most American kitchens. Add that is is easier to clean and takes up no space and it is by far the best rolling pin out there.

Easy to store compared to a large rolling pin. Works well. Just what i need for occasional dough rolling.
