Absolutely excellent tool. I wouldn't attempt to move a water heater without it. Threaded on perfectly and gave the perfect grab point to haul the water heater up my basement stairs.

They work perfectly and are indestructible! I recommend buying a pair! One is helpful and gets the job done but 2 really helps with anything over 40 gallons. They allow one person to lift and maneuver a water heater up and around piping and obstacles that would be impossible or really sketchy without them. @pstheplumber approved!

Professional plumber. I use these all the time. Gives you something solid to hold onto when going up and down stairs, if you have a tall box truck helps for yanking old water heaters up into truck. A few times we've hoisted 40 & 50 gallon water heaters out of and into the attic with these on a pulley system. Note: I use two one on hot and one on cold side when lifting it into attic for extra assurance but I would bet a hundred dollars one of them would work fine.

This product was great!! It allowed me to drag a heavy 30 gallon water heater from the basement up a flight of stairs.I felt like Samson!

Well. I guess as a do it yourself homeowner, this is one of those products you may only use half a dozen times in your lifetime. But it worked when I needed it to get my old water heater up the basement stairs. And it was a lot cheaper than buying a two wheel dolly.

Whoever came up with this idea is fabulous. Boy, it sure made a difference carrying the old water heater up a flight of stairs. Great gripping point and made moving a lot easier
