These are an adorable cut for very slim children. This runs small for the posted size chart and my daughter is very petite. I would order up a size. Also, fabric is low quality and pills after one wash. I want to love these but they just don’t last long.

After reading reviews, I ordered my 7 year old a medium. She normally wears a 6/6x. They got well except the leg holes are wide and baggy. They don’t fit tight like dance shorts should. She likes them and they are comfortable for her.

Ordered several pairs worried they would be a bit big for my skinny daughter but they were perfect. They weren't too tight and had growing room to stretch into.

I bought these for my daughter for cheer practice and she loves them. Great product for the price. She is a small 12 year old - wears about a size 12 in most clothes and these were just a little big on her. The v-waist is a little weird to me but didn't seem to be a big deal either way.

Our daughter just started gymnastics and you never know if an 8 yr old will take to and stay in a specific sport, so we were looking good quality shorts at a reasonable price. These are them! The size chart is also right on, which we have found to be a problem with other shorts.
