I ended up replacing the fans on this; they made an annoying whine even at 20-30% speed. A couple cheap artic fans ftw. The cooler works great, tho, on a new 13600K, temps stay mid 40's C gaming (some exceptions that drove 100% cpu util for some badly written things got as high as 70C temporarily , but normally while gaming my cpu temp is nearly the same as idle cpu temp with this cooler). Assembly was easy, instructions were clear, packaging was outstanding. I did add the thermalright cpu anti-bending thingy and it didn't complicate things at all. My impression of the brand is now very positive, but you'll have to decide if the fans are good enough for you (I'm SUPER noise averse). But even inside a fractal define r5 case I could hear them at low speed, so they had to go. My previous builds used noctua but their stuff is overly expensive and their fans are much noisier than they should be (whole lotta hype, apparently). Thermalright hardware and artic fans is my new go-to for cooling.

The Thermalright Peerless Assassin 120 SE CPU Air Cooler is a high-performance cooling solution designed to keep your CPU temperatures in check during intense gaming sessions or demanding workloads. Having had the opportunity to test this cooler, I'm excited to share my review of its performance and features. One of the standout features of the Peerless Assassin 120 SE is its dual tower design with six heat pipes. This configuration ensures efficient heat dissipation, allowing your CPU to maintain optimal temperatures even under heavy loads. The heat pipes effectively transfer heat from the CPU to the aluminum fins, where the dual tower design maximizes the cooling surface area for effective heat dissipation. The inclusion of dual 120mm TL-C12C PWM CPU fans further enhances the cooling capabilities of this air cooler. The fans are designed to deliver high airflow while maintaining low noise levels. The PWM functionality allows for automatic fan speed adjustment based on CPU temperatures, ensuring an optimal balance between cooling performance and noise levels. This is particularly beneficial for gamers and enthusiasts who value both performance and a quiet computing experience. The compatibility of the Peerless Assassin 120 SE is impressive. It supports both AMD AM4/AM5 and Intel LGA 1700/1150/1151/1200 sockets, making it a versatile choice for a wide range of CPUs. Whether you have an AMD or Intel system, this cooler can handle the job.Another notable feature of this air cooler is the AGHP (Accelerated Graphics Heat-pipe) technology. This technology utilizes a combination of heat pipes and aluminum fins to effectively dissipate heat generated by the CPU. The result is improved cooling performance, ensuring that your CPU stays within safe operating temperatures even during demanding tasks. The inclusion of an aluminum heatsink cover adds a touch of aesthetic appeal to the cooler. It provides a sleek and premium look that can complement various PC builds. The overall build quality of the Peerless Assassin 120 SE is excellent, with sturdy construction and attention to detail.Installation of the cooler is relatively straightforward, thanks to the included mounting hardware and clear instructions. However, it's worth noting that due to the dual tower design, the cooler's size might pose compatibility issues with certain cases, particularly smaller form factors. It's important to check the dimensions and clearance in your case before purchasing. In terms of performance, the Thermalright Peerless Assassin 120 SE delivers exceptional cooling capabilities. It effectively dissipates heat from the CPU, allowing for stable and reliable performance even during demanding tasks. I observed a noticeable improvement in CPU temperatures compared to stock coolers, providing peace of mind and the potential for better overclocking potential.Overall, the Thermalright Peerless Assassin 120 SE CPU Air Cooler is a reliable and high-performance cooling solution for your CPU. With its dual tower design, six heat pipes, dual 120mm PWM fans, and AGHP technology, it effectively manages CPU temperatures even under heavy workloads. The inclusion of an aluminum heatsink cover adds a touch of elegance to your PC build. Just be sure to check for compatibility with your case before purchasing.I highly recommend the Thermalright Peerless Assassin 120 SE to gamers, enthusiasts, and users seeking a reliable and efficient air cooler for their CPU. It's a worthy investment that offers excellent cooling performance, allowing for a more stable and optimized computing experience.

Installation is a breeze, performance is top-notch, and noise levels are impressively low, even when working hard. This substantial cooler, featuring a dual-fan design and six heat pipes, effectively cools my 11th Gen i7 during extended, high-intensity sessions. Its size is commanding, but it fits snugly within my rig, striking the perfect balance. The standout feature is its remarkable quietness. Most of the time, it's barely noticeable, and when the fans do ramp up, they remain quieter than other coolers in this price range. The fans' adjustability and replaceability are ensured by the snap-on metal pins, providing durability and versatility.I've used this cooler for a little over a year so far without any issues. It outperforms other CPU coolers I've tried, and I wholeheartedly recommend it. If you're in the market for an affordable, efficient, and near-silent CPU air cooler, the ARCTIC Freezer 34 Esports Duo is an excellent choice. Ready to give your rig the cooling it deserves? Look no further.

Offers good cooling for a good price, punches up to competes with products like the noctua nh-d15. The installation is easy compared to other coolers I've used in a similar price range.I'd recommend looking up performance reviews when you are shopping for a cooler as newer products may be better, like with this cooler vs the top tier two tower air coolers of last generation.(at the time of writing this). You do want to be careful to tighten the two screws the same amount as the two contact points vs 4 is more prone to user error, you can still mess up on 4 screws though. Just do 2 or 3 turns and swap to the other screw to get the best equal tightness on all screws.I have no complaints, you may want a long screw driver available to help get around the heatsink during installation, not required but it does help. Exceptional product.

Tldr; A big cpu cooler for a small price.Temps went from 85C to 65C at best.Definitely recommended.Out of the box, it's just a beautiful CPU air cooler with 6 heat pipes. Build quality solid.Every mounting socket was included, mine was an LGA1700. Included every component listed on the box.For a cheap CPU cooler this was excellent! To install it just remove default mount on your motherboard, hook up the backplate from the back install your socket's mount. Installation of the mount was smooth until I noticed there were 2 ways to place it, invert inwards or outwards, the guide included in the box helped with that. Thermal paste included is very nice. No spillage in the box or anything just smooth enough to place on the processor. Screwed nicely in.The fans were a bit of a challenge to install, I forgot to plug it into the fan socket, had to remove the tower and plug it in... When removing the tower always put pressure on it, cause it has springs... (facepalm)Now it's just a con for a M-ATX motherboard and quite thick GPU, it could be tight or not even fit in your case. Mine was a tight fit.Now it's running cool and silent at only 400~800 RPM, on my curve being 20C to 70C.Very happy with this purchase! Good brand.

I own the Noctua NH-D15 and this model as well and I now I realize that I overpaid for the Noctua NH-D15. This thing does the exact same job and is almost just as quiet as my Noctua (The fans on the thermalright have a slight vibration noise) but for the price, its certainly worth ignoring this small flaw.

The title pretty much says it. This keeps my 13600K below 60c under load. It's quiet, and performs extremely well, better than a lot of water coolers I've used.
