I like this food thermos—it’s thoughtfully designed and super convenient. The included insulated bag and foldable spoon are such nice touches, making it perfect for taking meals on the go. The size is just right—not too big or bulky, but still holds enough food to be satisfying for lunch. It feels sturdy and compact, which is great for commuting or packing in a bag.The insulation works well, keeping food hot for hours without any leaks. I’ve used it for soups, stews, and even pasta, and everything has stayed warm and fresh. The stainless steel interior is easy to clean and doesn’t retain odors or stains. Overall, it’s a great quality container that’s practical, and portable.

This thermos has a huge mouth, it makes cleaning very easy.Keeps cold food cold for me for 6 hours inside a hot car. The weather is too warm here in the desert for testing hot items.Capacity is a little low for my taste, however its not a lunchbox replacement no matter how much I try.Using the Lid for a cup/bowl is best used in emergency situations, its very messy and hard to clean without a sink.

Well packaged, insulated hot food thermos. This thermos holds 18.5 oz. and is made out of stainless steel. The seller indicates that the bag is leakproof, but the thermos is leak resistant. Also, included is the insulated bag, a nice-sized cleaning brush and a spoon. Be careful when trying to "unfold" the spoon as it is covered in a protective plastic; however, once you remove the plastic, you have to move the spoon side to side to get it to open. There is an extra silicone ring included. The seller indicates that this has the capacity to hold 1.2 lbs. of food. The seller shows that the lid is removable and can be used as a serving cup. The spoon has a special place created inside the top of the lid of the thermos, so you will always have a spoon handy. The insulated bag has a handle for easy carrying and a pocket on the outside to easily store the cleaning brush and extra silicone ring. Good value for a great product. The seller does indicate that before putting hot items into the thermos, that one should put hot water into the thermos 5-10 minutes before putting in the hot food. And the seller also recommends putting in cold water 5-10 minutes before putting in your cold product.

First off, it's a little smaller than I imagined. I know it says 18.5 oz but unless you cook or bake regularly, you can kind of gloss over that and not get a real feel of how big, or small, that is. Suffice to say, it's just enough for one person. But what's really important is performance. You can appreciate the cap being able to be used for a coup, or a integrated spoon, but it has to keep your soup hot for as long as possible or everything else is useless. The gold standard for me was, and still is, the vacuum insulated containers from Zojirushi. It's practically the only brand you can buy without any worries. But it's also very, very expensive. But what if a brand come close to Zojirushi for a fraction of the price? So I put this soup thermos to the test. I filled with the hot water, 148.5 F right out of my faucet. Yours may be hotter or a little colder. The reason why I didn't use boiling water is that normally, you shouldn't do that. The only vacuum, double insulated thermos you can do that reliably is from, guess who, yup, Zojirushi. The seal on other thermos can be compromised if you fill them with boiling water.Anyway, I secured the inner cap and the outer cap that can also be used for a cop, and let it sit on my kitchen that was around 68 F. And after 1 hour, the water was at 140.5 F.And after 2 hours, it was 134.5 F. At this time, I also measured the exterior, and it was at 74 F, about 6 F above the ambient. The exterior of the outer cap was 81 F, confirming that the plastic is less insulating that double walled, vacuum insulation. Opening up the outer cap, the inner cap was 84 F. There is also a little dimple where the tri-folded spoon fits, and being thinner, it was hotter: 92 F.After 3 hours, the water inside was 129 F. The exterior was 72 F. The outer cap was 76 F. Inner cap was 84 F, and the dimple was 89 F.After 4 hours, which would be maximum time for someone packing this in the morning to eat at lunch, the water was 123 F, which the other numbers being 75, 87, and 89.After 6 hours, the absolute limit of its useful function, the water was 117 F. At this point, the soup would be drinkable, if not particularly enjoyable. But if you're packing something like clam chowder that would be hideous cold, this will work well enough. So the verdict? For $20, are you kidding me? It's absolutely worth it. Now, I am operating under some limitations. I have no idea about the durability of this product. It could crap out tomorrow. But the hot water test like the one I did, is a stress test of a sort. When the pros test things for durability, they test it under high pressure and/or high heat. So having come through my hot water test with some impressive results, I think it speaks well of its build quality and durability.Of course, your mileage may vary. If your house, or the office since all of us are going back to the office, is hotter or colder, your results will be different. Also, it comes with an insulated bag that should improve the performance a little bit, especially since a lot of heat loss is happening through the cap. I should also mention that I did not pre-heat the thermos. Pre-heating means that you bring the temperature of the thermos up by first filling it with hot water before draining it and using it. It helps more than you think. So, practically speaking, I think you can put your favorite soup in this in the morning, and as long as your lunch happens within 4 hours, you'll have a nice, at least warm if not hot, soup to enjoy without resorting to microwave or other heating method. And for $20? It's a definite buy.edit: It's 4PM here and I'm enjoying a tolerably warm Italian sausage and kale soup I packed at 7:30AM this morning. I ate about half of it around 11AM so it didn't have a lot of thermal mass to keep going so it's doubly impressive. The soup would be obnoxious cold because it's pretty greasy but I can eat this. Not quite a ringing endorsement but considering the situation, it's very impressive.

This would be a bargain at twice the price! This keeps your soup warm all day, and has a collapsible spoon that works fantastic. The carrying bag is nice, but probably unnecessary. I like that it has a handy vent, so you can let some steam out before opening it. Saves you from a potential burn if you put your soup in extra hot! This already gets a lot of use around our place, as we spend a lot of evenings out doing various volunteer theatre work. Handy way to take a hearty, quick meal along with you!

I had soup I prepared at 5 in the morning and had my lunch at noon and my soup was still piping hot. This thermos is really good at keeping food hot. It comes with a portable/foldable spoon which means you don't need to pack one, and it even comes with a thermal regulated carrying bag. 5 stars

This thermos is nice but what I really love is the little insulated bag it comes with! We put our son's milk cup in it for daycare - you can fit a flat icepack in the back and it easily fits in his backpack. It's such a convenient size and is useful for more than just the thermos that it comes with! The thermos itself easily kept milk cold for an 8 hour outing and would probably stay cold much longer. It doesn't leak and is easy to clean. The spout makes it easy to pour without making a mess. Overall this has been really great for kids for daycare, traveling and day trips!

18.5 almost I say almost because it was close filling it to the point of spilling but doing that will not allow you to put lid on it. Might be able to hold 15.5 16oz of whatever if you want to take it anywhere.
