this will be the second time having to replace the plastic thermostat housing in my car in120,000 miles.. i said back in 2009 when i had to replace the 1st housing.. no wonder it failed, it is made out of plastic, and i am having to replace it with another plastic housing!!!

Im no mechanic by any means but this kit was perfect on price and quality that it was worth the week wait. The stores here only had plastic and I would've bought each piece separately. It was a two hour installation for a person who doesnt know much about cars and followed a youtube video lol The housing unit comes with the thermostat already inside. The sensor is placed with pin but it is loose. I would recommend the small o-ring. I did need to replace the rubber heating tube on top and bottom. The kit comes with the one for the bottom but not top which is a 3/4 Inch tube you can get from an auto store by the foot for about $8. The kit also came with the lower gasket ring. I have driven the car for two days now and have not experienced leaks or over heating! Great buy!!
