This was such a great idea to put under our 18' diameter above ground pool. Was a great fit, easy to layout and the to just place the pool liner directly over it. Easy to trim if you have some edges peaking out around the pool but not necessary. Makes the pool bottom much smoother and softer on your feet. Love it, would highly recommend.

It will work but it's thin. I thought it would be lot thicker material for what I payed It's about a 1/8 inch thick.

The last time we set up our pool we purchased sand and went through the rigamaroll of raking and leveling and re-raking. At the end of the day we still had hard spots under the pool With this product; although you still have to level it gives you a really nice surface to walk on when in the pool. In comparison the dump load of sand was almost $300 and really was not a great option.

Decently thick pool pad

Over the years the pool gets dirt to close to the liner and it builds up. Last year this caused some leaks and it got bad. This year I heard about these pads you can put under the pool and decided to try one. I got one that is a little bigger than the pool so there was space to keep the liner safe. It was easy to roll out I would suggest 2 people do it but I can see one working. The only thing I don't get but maybe it is for when people put the pool up for the season is it being able to be cleaned but it is felt. We live in the south and actually just cover it for the season.

It is so important for your above the ground pool to have a liner underneath before you set it up and fill it with water, because it prevents sharp stones or twigs from poking any holes into the bottom of the pool. It is very tough and durable, will last a long time!Thank you for reading my review!
