I ordered this item three different times, and they all showed up with kinks and crinkles in the plastic, which makes the sensor stuck closed. This was due to it being folded in order to fit into a small bag. The worst sensor was shipped in just an envelope, and was very creased. I was able to get one to work by using scissors to cut off the damaged section, but it shortened the sensor by 50%, which was a little too short for my project.I wired it directly to the ecolink dwzwave2.5-eco contact sensor terminals, and then placed it under the carpet on my stairs to automate the lights. I had to trim the ecolink case a bit to make it close, but that was easy enough. It works okay for this purpose, but it takes way less than 10kg of pressure to close the sensor. You can close it with about as much pressure as it takes to use your phone screen.

No need to press the whole thing, you can press it with two fingers and get the voltage to drop to 0V.Bought it to put it under my mattress to detect if someone on it, I have a thick mattress, so, this is not working, will use it for something else.

I've purchased two of these so far. I use them in conjunction with the "Yolink Outdoor Contact Sensors". Wired them up using a LED light strip plug and placed them under my mattress. Through Alexa and Home Assistant, I have them trigger routines and automations. So far they have worked great and are the perfect length. I gave this item a 4 star review, because of the fact that one of the pressure sensors came folded which gave me "false contacts". I was able to fix it, but I feel it could be packaged better to eliminate the folding issue. Other than that, it's a great product and works well!
