This book had me hooked from page 1!I love that the “romance” was dark, dirty, and naughty. This book gets down right delicious, descriptive, and NEVER dull.I don’t know how the other books in this series could possibly get any better, but I’m excited to find out!

4.75 starsNow this might not be everyone’s cup of tea, but this was exactly what I was in the mood for, and I loved it so much. The plot was typical of these boarding school, bully romance/alpha rich male vibes, but it felt so much more and complicated especially those messy family dynamics going on.As soon as Whit and Summer encountered one another it was like a firestorm set between them, and it was so intense, but in a good way. Usually I don’t like when things get sexual that early on, but for whatever reason it worked in this situation. There was constant smut, but again it worked. It got more erotic and steamy as it went on, but it also got more emotional intense. I could see and feel that connection building and growing with every encounter they had. Then when the affection, tenderness, and caring came into play, it won me over even more. I fell in love with the romance of Whit and Summer. The biggest positive from this book was how much showing of these two fall in love without the words. It was very clear and very much felt. It was special. It was beautiful. I loved how they showed love towards each other even if it was just in the physical way. The romance was still there even then.My favorite part though had to be Whit’s transformation. I thought it was really done well. I loved the arc that he went through as he fell deeper and deeper for Summer. I loved seeing him become a happy and better person. I loved how he was willing to fight for what he wanted with her. The joy that she brought to his life was so beautiful. It was such a breath of fresh air especially after all the darkness and toxicity that was going on in multiple different ways. I loved it.It did drag out a tad near the end, but I was still satisfied and overjoyed when they finally got their HEA in the end.

This book I'm going to say was barely a 3 star. I would first say that this is most definitely not for teens. This book is 18yrs and older. Having a book like this and the content in it for students in high school and doing the things they did was not good. This book really sided on Porn side. Mrs. Murphy admitted this book could have kept going and I thought it was way too long. The story was cute at beginning and ended on good note, but to have such vulgar language and sex throughout really in every chapter was too much and truly unrealistic. I felt like this book said a lot and yet said nothing repeating the sex scenes over and over got tiring fast.I have to admit A Million Kisses in Your Lifetime although sexual was not near as bad as this was. She did better. Mrs. Murphy's writing is easy to read and fast pacing, but just way to long for the plot she is getting to in this book. I enjoyed it to a point for what it was, but I only recommend to adults 18yrs and older. I would not give this to any young girls to read, because I would not want them to think treating someone like this is OK at all. I felt like Summer had no choice but to go along with all the black mailing just to get through it. They both had issue just think it could have been told in different manner. I appreciate authors who write books, but I do want them to era on the caution side that what you write some people might emulate it into their own lives and that could have a lasting and hurtful life. Always remember some people fall out of reality & into books just so their life has meaning. Overall, it was a cute story once you get to the point. Warning lots of foul language, way over the top sexual activity, and bullying. Not for all people. Gina Clabo

I absolutely LOVED this book!! I saw some reviews about how it wasn’t as good as the second, so I read this first but even if the second is “better”, this book was so good. It’s dark but sexy and their love story is honestly one of my favourites. There are scenes that are a bit degrading but the relationship between Whit and Summer is consensual so it’s not like so disturbing… you know? Overall, 10/10 would recommend!!

This book took me by surprise! i wasn’t sure what to think going in, since i hadn’t heard too many people talk about it but oh my goodness it was incredible! everything i love in a book was in this! private school, rich kids, enemies to lovers, bully romance! There was the perfect amount of drama that kept me constantly hooked and i was immediately sucked in!Summer Savage and Whit Lancaster have family history which caused them to meet one time when they were 14 before they never saw each other and their families both blew up in different ways. Summer transfers to Lancaster prep for her senior year and runs in to Whit. He turns the school against her and tries to ruin her life. He blackmails her and they eventually up in an ‘enemies with benefits’ type situation. From then on the drama is INSANE!! whit is, in my eyes, an incredible combination of Chuck Bass and Nate Archibald and very much ‘I hate everyone but you’!.Check TW before reading x

“I hate that she’s all I think about. I’m a man obsessed.”.Young, dark and brooding…Whit Lancaster is a monster. Everyone at Lancaster Prep falls at his feet in hopes of staying on his good side. His family has owned the school for centuries & he is the self titled king there. But when a ghost from his past, Summer Savage, shows up one day in his American Government class, Whit is momentarily left speechless. When he finally does speak, he has nothing but downright rude, crude & unapologetically dirty things to say to Summer. And suddenly blackmail never tasted so sweet as it does when Whit has her bending to his every command..17 year old Summer Savage is trying to run away from the secrets of her past. But when her Mother forces her to enroll at Lancaster Prep for her senior year, Summer falls right into the very hands of the one boy she could never rid her memories of. Whit Lancaster…depraved & dangerous. Though every red flag is going up, Summer can’t resist the pull she feels to Whit. Even when he does his best to make her life at school hell, eventually leading to blackmailing her as means for revenge, Summer still craves his touch and the horrible things he says to her in private. He’s the only one who knows her deepest, darkest secrets and she’ll do anything to keep it that way. But when lust gets mixed with love, can Summer stop herself from falling for the villain? Or will she only ever be doomed to be Whit’s dirty little secret?.Prepare your hearts for Monica Murphy’s newest release, THINGS I WANTED TO SAY (But Never Did)! A dark bully romance filled with lies, lust & betrayal. I had no idea what I was getting into when reading TIWTS but let me tell you…it’s one hell of a ride. This story is definitely not for the faint of heart. This isn’t a sweet romance! No, the heat is sizzling off the pages with this one. Pretty sure my kindle melted. *Whit was worth it though.* I’m not sure where to start on my feelings about TIWTS, but is it wrong to fall for the villain? Lol. But Whit Lancaster is the perfect anti-hero. A man obsessed and on the hunt to claim what’s been his. I LOVED reading from his perspective, being inside his thoughts you see he’s such a tortured soul. And Summer! My gosh, I loved her character. Everything Whit would throw at her, she threw it right back and took it in stride. A formidable opponent in his twisted games. THINGS I WANTED TO SAY (But Never Did) is the longest book by Murphy and is the bully romance you never knew you needed! I was kept on the edge of my seat while reading and didn’t want to put my kindle down. 5 stars, no question about that! To see the growth in both Whit & Summer collectively and individually was a treat to read. It’s one of those stories when you never want it to end! The steam & the darkness was unexpected but not one scene was out of place. Highly recommend for fellow dark romance readers. Get ready for Whit claim your heart, like he did mine..Mature readers 18+ / Possible triggers / Standalone / HEA.*I received a complimentary ARC of this story from the author & Valentine PR. I voluntarily reviewed this ebook. All views are my own.
