piece of garbage. It's supposed to provide comfort and it is paper thin. Don't waste your money. I should have returned it. I recently tried it and couldn't believe how they had the nerve to charge $54. for this inferior piece of crap.

This actually comes in 3 sizes: Close Contact, , and . The ThinLine website gives dimensions: Close Contact seat saver measures 12.5' at the widest point, 17.5' long from cantle to pommel; All Purpose (Jumping) seat saver measures 12.75' at the widest point, 18.5' long from cantle to pommel; Dressage seat saver measures 13' at the widest point, 19.5' long from cantle to pommel. This product was too small for my saddle. The end of this close contact seat saver reaches about an inch short of the pommel of my close contact saddle. The strap that goes underneath the saddle front-to-back (not visible in the picture), on the other hand, is too long. I trimmed it to fit, but now the velcro is loose and will have to be glued. Additionally, I would have preferred it to be wider in the front, since that is where jumper riders actually are most of the time. Comfort is as expected - it is ThinLine material which is, as the name implies, very thin, so don't expect it to be plush and cushy. But it seems to absorb shock pretty well. I bought mine more to protect my saddle than for comfort, which it does ok but would do a lot better if it was bigger.Overall, it serves its purpose, but coming form ThinLine I expected a little more care to go into the design. Probably wouldn't buy again, but if I did I would certainly buy a larger size.
