I love that these snap together and they're ready to use. Fits well in the nb cover (like rumparooz newborn). I also like that one layer can be directly next to skin if just using a cover and not a pocket diaper.

They work really well with the duo wraps, however they are pricey for only a single set. They are quicker and easier to use than old fashioned folded diapers (by hand) and they do dry relatively quickly.I have also used these as inserts in pocket diapers (fuzzibums, kangarooz, charlie bananas) although I know these are more specifically designed for the wraps. I have also began to use them as an extra insert at night or longer car rides to ensure that my little one stays dry (note: this does make for a bulkier diaper)

I bought these to go along with the Thirsties Duo Wrap, and unfortunately it's not a very good system for my baby. While I love the absorbency of both layers, the fitting just means plenty of leakage when paired with the Duo Wrap. We had to deal with so many leakage with this our baby has proven to us that she's just not having it!The hemp layer is VERY absorbent, but that also means that it takes such a long time to dry in the dryer. Often we would have to get these to stay in the dryer a little longer unfortunately. We ended up using traditional prefolds for the the Duo Wrap. I'll have to think of what I can use these with, probably pair it with the other diapers as an extra layer in the future. I bought multiples of these, so now I'll have to get creative so they won't go to waste!Updated Review:My daughter has gained more weight allowing the inserts to fit tighter along with the Duo Wrap and surprise! No more leaks. Looks like the leakage was because of an ill-fitting overall diaper due to baby's weight. Also, now that the terry liner has been washed a few more times, it has become even more absorbent, though still takes extra time to dry. Both layers are so easy to clean, and the microfiber liner still wicks away moisture easily, leaving my baby's bum nice and dry (and a breeze to clean!)

Barely holds urine. Had it on my light wetter for two hours and it was so soaked through that her skin was wet with urine. So much for stay dry. The hemp prefolds keep her skin drier and they have no stay dry fabrics or promise. Glad I only bought one to try.

I have been cloth diapering my LO's for over four years and I have never had an insert so trim absorb so much! I am considering selling all my other inserts and purchasing more of these! The microfiber insert is very soft and dries fairly quickly. The hemp/cotton blend insert is also soft for having hemp in it. It does take a little longer to dry every hemp insert I own does that. Having both inserts together is perfect! Microfiber absorbs liquid fast but as low absorbency and the hemp/cotton blend absorbs slower but absorbs more. Together is magical!I have owned this insert for little over a month and have been using pretty regularly and I haven't noticed any change in the quality of the stitching or the fabric.I use this particular insert in my BG flip covers. I do have a couple of Thristies size 1 covers but they feel a bit thin so I like the flips better. I love traveling with these inserts because I don't have to worry so much about leaking. I have gone 10 hours once with this insert and it did not leak! I also own the Thirsties hemp boosters and I love them as well and its a must have for overnight use!*Edited note* I have been using the insert for about 5 months now and I have noticed the cotton/hemp blend has shrunk slightly and I have to stretch the fabric some before I am able to snap with microfiber layer. I have noticed this with my Buttons hemp inserts as well so it's normal for hemp to shrink. They are still the most absorbent and thin insert I own. I'm getting ready to purchase the size two inserts.

It took me a while to start liking these. I think that is due to the fact that they were not very absorbent in the begining but they do the trick now. The best part about these are that they are so small compared to other inserts. We use prefolds so our babies cloth diapers are already bulky and most inserts are so big they don't really fit well in the cover. They do take quite a while to dry, I have to normally put them back in the dryer with the next load. But if I just use a prefold and one of these then we have no problems with leaks. They show them as sized but I am not sure if we will need to size up, our baby is 16 lbs now. They are pretty absorbent. I would recomend these to anyone that would like to trim up their cloth diapers.

I like that these come apart for easier washing and versatility when stuffing and layering in a diaper. I think they'd be better if you could snap more layers in when needed, or be able to snap the insert to the cover itself - great with wiggly babies. They fit very trim, which is great. They do a decent job of absorbing for daytime. But I like Thirsties flat hemp inserts better for absorption ability, although they are a little thicker when folded 3 times.

I was originally very happy with these inserts because I wanted something thin. I used them with the Thirsties covers. They worked well for my 18 month old at first, but as he got older they just weren't sufficiently absorbent. IMO... the bulker the cloth diaper, the more absorbent it will be. There is no magic fabric. Over time the microfiber layer hasn't held up well. It has gotten rough and stained. The hemp layer still looks great, though. I now use prefolds instead. They are bulky, yes, but much more absorbent. Prefolds are also cheaper, they wash better, and they dry faster. I will save these to use with the next baby, however because it is nice to have a slimmer option on occasion.
