Soft and plush, but disappointedly lacking in absorbency. It spreads water more than absorbing it, which makes for a clammy post-shower experience.

I got it a week ago and it’s big, fluffy, soft and absorbent. Everything it claims to be is spot on and a great investment. But be prepared to remove the huge amount of shedded cotton on it before first use.I ran it through my washer and dryer alone, with no other items including the other towel in the pair set, and then had to run it by itself through the dryer an additional two full times (30 mins each) and empty the full lint tray each time. After all that there’s still a little shedding left but it’s minimal and likely to end soon. It seems like it will last years and the de-shedding will be forgotten soon enough.

These towels are amazing. We have two we’ve owned for 20 years and used daily for 15 years and they are still great towels for cottage, beach, camping. We purchased more 6 years ago that are still practically like new. This latest set was a gift. Large, super-absorbent, luxurious. Can handle being washed on Sanitize and dried on Anti-bacterial settings. Avoid fabric softeners for max absorbency.

It ends there. After 2 full washings, both washer and dryer had huge wads of lint in them, yet you could still the lint all over the towels. Decided to use them anyway.Absorbency - these towels I received actually repel the water, smearing all over my body, leaving me wet and freezing, with lint all over me. I reached for an old towel.I tried one first and never said a word to my wife about my experience. After her shower, she said " this towel just smears the the water around, making me wet and cold and covered in lint. I threw it on the floor and got my old towel"I really don't understand, maybe it's combination of having a water softener and Turkish Cotton ?Any recommendations on resort style bath sheets that are super absorbent, soft and heavy. Please advise.

I absolutely love this towel. It is huge and very absorbent. The first wash, the dryer lint catch had a lot of lint in it from this towel, but nothing excessive ever since. It is holding up well. Now that winter has set in, getting out of the shower is much easier because I can wrap up completely and just cuddle down into the soft, thick towel until I'm dry - no more shivering while trying to quickly dry off! I do think I'll be getting several more of these!

Nice towels. Surprisingly, these towels are heavy enough to make drying off a bit tiring! If I were to buy another set of towels, I would buy this same size, but a much lighter weight/weave towel. (I never, in my wildest dreams, thought I would say such a thing!)(Edit 7/10/2018)I had to remove more stars because of the gmo cotton. These towels just don't really absorb, so much as smear water evenly across your skin. In fact, if you get one side wet, the moisture never gets below the surface! Not to worry, though; when one side of the towel is too wet to use, the other side will be perfectly dry... sadly, even after using both sides of the towel, YOU WILL STILL BE WETTER than your towel!

This towel is decent for the price. They are huge, which is what I was looking for but they're not extraordinarily big and fluffy . They're a step up from the towels you find in Walmart as far as thickness goes. Otherwise they're absorbent and the extra length might make up for the lack of fluff if you wrap it around yourself. I bought a $40 bath sheet from Bed Bath and Beyond and even though it's smaller (33 x 70") and if I fold the two of them up together, the BB&B one is thicker. Other than that the quality is good and I haven't had any washing-related problems with it.

These are great towels. Thick, thirsty, soft and huge. Like any bath sheet I've ever purchased, these should be washed by themselves the first 5 washings. They will shed heavily when new. Clean your dryer's lint trap halfway through the cycle, because it will be full. The shedding may annoy you at first, but after 10 washings it stops, leaving you with the best bath sheet you'll ever own. At least one with a reasonable price. Hang them where they can dry fully after use. They're so thick it takes a while and good ventilation for them to dry. Ignore this warning and you'll have a sour smelling towel.

This towel never makes it to the linen closet. It gets used, laundered, and goes right back into service. It is so soft and ABSORBENT -- I don't think I ever knew how a towel was really supposed to work until I got this one. It doesn't just push the water around when you're drying off, this towel actually absorbs the water -- INSTANTLY. My standards are much higher now! It is very large, perfect for my tweens on swimteam, my husband, two smaller children!. I have lots of expensive towels from major department stores and catalog retailers in my closet. But THIS is the towel everyone in my family wants. I guess if I ever want to use it, I'll have to buy a few more!
