It was more of a flash light than a black light. It was to bright as in less purple and more regular light.

Brightness was passable for use on detecting UV in but I don't know about battery life yet.It works though, so 10/10

Used it a few times on the day I got it. It worked well. Turned it off and left it on my desk. 2 months later it no longer works. Replaced batteries twice. Not expensive, but why throw away even $7? Return window is 6 weeks. Oh well.

Arrived in an envelope with no packing, but it works great! A lot brighter than expected. Will be using this to find uranium glass at thrift stores. It will light up a decent piece from several feet away. Also might use it to check sheets and blankets at hotels.
