This is a really great simple item to have in the home or shop. It is an easy way to check a nut or bolt for size or to see what size hole a drill bit is going to make/which size drill bit you need. There are both standard and metric sizes for ease. The checker is really heavy duty and will last forever. It has rubber stand offs so it sits on the bench for ease of use and holes on the top so it can also be mounted on the wall. Reasonable cost for how heavy duty the item is. Would make a great gift for someone who loves home repair or works on cars, bikes, construction, etc. Happy to recommend!

I hate having to take nuts or bolts to the hardware store when looking for compatible sizing. Some stores have sizers for sizing your nuts and bolts, but some don't. With the Aigogo Thread Checker I can forget about taking my nuts or bolts to the store for sizing and I now have the option of shopping online with confidence that I have the correct thread specifications.My biggest surprise when I received this sizer is how sturdy it was. The bolt samples are threaded into a 5mm thick aluminum frame. Since its not plastic, the tapped holes won't easily strip when testing the wrong sized thread. It is absolutely commercial quality and much nicer than anything I have seen at a big box store! It has a large assortment of bolts and threaded holes for sizing just about any nut or bolt. I am super pleased with the Aigogo Thread Checker and highly recommend it!

I recently ordered this 2-piece nut-and-bolt thread checker for my workshop, as I often work with various fasteners. This product has been incredibly helpful in identifying the correct thread sizes, eliminating any uncertainty.There are three key features worth noting:Firstly, the size range is impressive, although there are some discrepancies in the product description. It states “42 Nut and Bolt Thread Checker,” but the total number is actually 34. This comprises 19 Standard and 15 Metric sizes (19 + 15 = 34). While the product includes gauges for eight different drill bit sizes, these should not be counted as thread gauges. Also, it’s important to mention that these gauges accommodate both nuts and bolts, effectively doubling the total count to 68. I find it highly unlikely that I will encounter a thread size that is not supported by this product.Another noteworthy aspect is the wall-mount capability of these gauges. This design is similar to the thread checkers found at larger home improvement stores like Home Depot and Lowe's, significantly enhancing accessibility within my workspace.Lastly, the combination of alloy aluminum and stainless steel in its construction gives me confidence in its durability over many years of use.In summary, I am thoroughly satisfied with this product. I genuinely believe it would be a valuable addition for both DIY enthusiasts and professionals alike, enhancing the efficiency and accuracy of their work. I highly recommend considering this option.

Really like this and should assist me in finding the right size for nuts and bolts. There are some mounting holes that I intend to use to mount to the wall for easy access. Thera are rubber feet on the bottom, one of the feet was missing so I need to spend some money to get additional feet so it lays flush with the counter or wall. I won't ding the review for this but would be nice to have a complete product.

This is a great thead checker. It is solid and heavy duty. The plate is 5mm aluminum, (a bit over 3/16", a bit under 1/4"), and has a nice red anodization on it. I tested it out with a number of random bolts and nuts lying around, and it worked well to clasify them.I do wish that they had chased the threads on the threaded bolt holes, as they are a hair tight with the anodization. Bolts still screw in well, but a bit of a looser tolerance would maybe make it a bit faster to find the right hole. My trick is I take the bolt I'm trying to size and quickly run it up against the bolt threads that are close in size. It'll mesh with the threads of the correct size when you find the right one, (helpful if you have no idea if you are holding a metric or SAE bolt), and then you can double check by threading it into the bolt hole.The plate itself has little 1/4" rubber standoff feet on the underside so it stays firmly whereever you set it. It also has hanging holes if you want to mount it on a wall. My only problem now is I only have one of these and I really need one in the garage, in the basement, and up at the camper...

I have always relied on thread checkers like this whenever I needed to find some bolt or nut to match something at home, whether it is needed for repair or when building something bespoke. The only place I could find one, however, was in the hardware store.I was therefore delighted to see that these are available to the consumer, and this one is especially nice. Designed for both metric as well as standard, and for both screws and nuts, this product covers a wide range of common sizes. The base plate itself is quite heavy, and features protruding bolts (for checking nuts) as well as threaded holes (for checking screws). It is the kind of thing which will hang over the bench in my garage.The only very minor criticism is that the particular model I obtained has limited coverage of smaller screw sizes, especially in metric. In standard thread, the smallest screw or nut would be 6-32, so it doesn't cover 4-40 or smaller sizes. However, it appears that the same vendor has models that do cover a wider range.
