Nice quality anodized nut / thread pitch measuring tool. Very easy to read labels with a wide variety of both Standard and Metric bolt sizes. The threaded holes are anodized over and only have a few threads thickness, so go easy when testing thread pitch. It's easier to just put the bolt next to the theads to compare that way than actually threading through. I've always thought these were neat at the hardware store, and now i have one in my possession. Seldom will use it, but it's a great resource to have in the tool box when trying to order bolts/nuts online for replacement parts. Price wise, there are competitor products at a lower price point, but don't have the same form factor (square vs rectangle) or the same number of size comparisons, for that is why I reduced one star, since it seems this is a copy of a similar product at a lightly higher price point. Overall very pleased.

Thread checker is heavy in weight and professionally made in quality. The nearly 8x10 identifier is solid enough for wall mounting or table top ready with raised feet. I tried to identify some smaller screws but it is best for larger screws and bolts. This will make a great Father’s Day gift, he will love it.

This tool is super handy to have in the shop as we frequently have unknown bolts and nuts that need to be replaced or are missing one or the other piece and this makes determining thread pitch and size simple. The text is crisp and easy to read and it was very simple to mount to one of the walls.

This is a really well made thread checker, that is made from thick aluminum plate, and the threaded stubs are made from stainless steel and all solid stock (no hollow pipes). This is also better than most other thread checkers, which the others have only 15 metric and 15 SAE threads. This one has 15 metric and 19 SAE threads represented for both the bolt stubs and holes. This also has 8 drill bit gauges. On either side of this thread checker, it has 15 cm ruler on the metric side, and a 6 inch ruler on the SAE side. These are handy to measure bolt lengths. The finish on this thread checker is a heavy coating of a hard anodized coating that is a vibrant red. The scales and all writings are etched in to the surface by lasers so they should hold up to a lot of wear and use. Overall, this is very heavy for a thread checker, mostly because of the thickness of the aluminum, but also because of the solid stainless steel posts. To better support the weight of this item, this also has four rubber bumpers on all four corners so it not only will protect the surface where you're using this, but also it provides a little gap to make it easier to pickup and to prevent the bolts you are running through the holes from hitting the table top as easily.I find that this is really easy to use. I also realized that when checking shorter bolts, that it is can be easier to thread them through from the backside, since there is less interference with all of the protruding stubs. This is a really good thread checker, which has a few more SAE sizes than most others. Plus it's really heavy and extra thick, and to help protect the surfaces of where you are using this, it has four rubber bumpers/feet too. Overall, this is a great value since it offers so much more than many of the others.

I genuinely don’t know how I’ve gone this long without something like this. I had assumed it would be made of heavy-duty plastic or maybe fiberglass, but it’s actually solid aluminum with real steel threads—much heavier and more industrial-feeling than expected. It looks and feels like something built for professional use.The layout is easy to use right out of the box. Threads are clearly labeled and easy to read, and the spacing allows larger nuts to spin on easily without feeling cramped. It includes both standard and metric sizes, along with integrated drill gauge holes and even a dual-side ruler (inches and centimeters). The markings are sharp, and the rubber feet underneath keep it from sliding around on smooth surfaces, which is a nice touch.I haven’t mounted it yet—I’m keeping it in a drawer for now—but it’s compact enough to store easily and does have pre-drilled holes for wall mounting if you want to keep it out of the way. This will prove useful for projects around the house and in the garage, especially for identifying random fasteners from my car or leftover hardware bins. No more hunting for the right tools or nuts/bolts. Just measure and pick what you need.No complaints. This is one of those tools that just does what it should, with solid engineering and thoughtful design. Whether you're a mechanic, tinkerer, or DIY type, this belongs in your workspace.P.S. The last photo with the flash shows the color most accurately. It's a deeper, richer red than what you see in the first four photos. It's has a nice color actually.

Super quality and convenience in one place. No more rides to the big box store to use the one in the hardware aisle. Plate aluminum with a blemish free finish. A quick test with a variety of hardware and the bolts and threads worked perfectly. Well worth the price.

This board is great for figuring out the size and thread pitch of your nuts and bolts, it even includes some holes for measuring dowels. It has saved me a trip to the hardware store, so it has already paid for itself.

I am often trying to figure out a nut/screw size and the thread thickness. This does it and does it well for metric and SAE. This is a heavy-duty duty professional-grade tool. It is better than some I have used in hardware stores. The sizes are well marked and easy to read.
