This is a decent set of tools for decorating Ukrainian eggs. There are a couple of things that I dislike: the silicon egg stands add nothing, in my opinion. When you're decorating these eggs, you rarely need to set them in a stand unless you're letting them dry -- if you set a wet colored egg in these, it would pool in the bottom of the stand. I'm surprised the kit doesn't come with any dye at all -- it would be better if included three colors so people could experiment before having to purchase dye. There are three kistkas included and they are much longer than any I have used in the past. They are traditionally made of wood, but these are made of metal and very long. It turns out that they can be twisted in half and there is a small tool inside. Is it for cleaning the kistka? I have never seen this and there are no directions. The kistkas all look very similar and it's difficult to tell the sizes apart -- they aren't labeled. It would be useful if they were labeled, or different color, or could be identified in some way. Overall, the kit is good, though. It includes a lot of the candles you'll need and the wax. It would be sufficient to make *many* Ukrainian eggs, once you have the dye.

This Ukrainian Easter Egg Decorating Kit Supplies Kit was so much fun. Unfortunately I lost the photos without my family photos. We had a great time trying this fun activity. It includes 3 wax tip applicators. The included votive candles are used to melt the black wax in the applicators so that you can apply the black wax to the egg shells. The black wax is used as resist. Then you can dye the areas without the wax.

Stressful. No dye was included so I had to purchase die tablets. Instructions were limited. The wax seemed to take forever to melt. When it did melt, it would write about a millimeter before having to reheat. It took about 45 minutes to an hour to do one egg that looks not very pleasing. And that was not even including removing the wax.I still haven’t gotten all of it off.A very tedious process – not sure if I did it the right way as the instructions didn’t include timing on the different steps. It would’ve been much more satisfying if the tools worked for more than two seconds before having to reheat.
