Here is one customer`s experience on his 2014 X310 lawn tractor: “The area where the control fits will not accept your control without modification either to the opening or your control. The corners of your control needed to be rounded off to fit in the area of the opening. then the thickness off the plastic around the opening is to thick for your control to latch into place. So the space between your control mounting surface and the latching tabs is too narrow.”

The assembly does not click into the opening like it should and the ends of the cables had to be modified.

Control housing does not fit in opening without modification. I ended up re- using the old housing.
