So Why do you need FT?
The ETC in your F-150 Trucks determines how MUCH the throttle body will open and how FAST it will open. So when you press the gas pedal down fully, the throttle blade will only open to 80% and opens at a speed the computer thinks is best. This is how acceleration is controlled and limited in ETC vehicles. This is our engineer’s way of saying it doesn’t matter how quickly you floor the gas pedal; there will still be a lag in your throttle response.
This is what FT is built for! FT plugs directly into the Accelerator Pedal Position Sensor (PPS) located on the gas pedal. FN Tuned then takes the information from the PPS and sends it up to 1000 times faster to the ECU and throttle body. By doing this, FN Tuned allows you to eliminate the throttle delay from your accelerator (gas pedal) and allows your engine to respond faster. The difference is unparalleled! The "Eco," "Sport," and "Track" settings have me convinced I've stumbled into a hidden feature from the Mars Rover.Even if I'm cruising in the grocery getter mode ("Eco"), I feel like I'm navigating through hyperspace. And when I switch to "Sport" or, heavens help us, "Track," I prepare to leave pedestrians questioning their reality. They'll wonder if they've just seen a truck with the spirit of a Ferrari.

This was so simple to install. I just plugged it into my f150 and it made my truck faster. I step on the pedal and now it doesn’t lag. What sold me was the anti theft. It disables the gas if anyone is trying to steal your vehicle.

Installation was easy. Setup with my iPhone was smooth, as well... Within a few minutes I was up and running!And I mean running!It's amazing that at a click of my fingers, I can achieve instant results in increasing or decreasing the throttle response... It truly feels like a very different truck, now.My only negative observation was that my miles to empty is greatly affected. I drove all of about 3 miles playing with the different settings and noticed that the distance to empty dropped from 209 miles to 184 miles to empty. I'll have to keep my eyes on the gas gauge, now... I'm hopeful that I will not experience any further issues with my gauges...Overall, I definitely recommend it, has I'm considering purchasing another one for my BMW!

I ordered this #FUKINTUNED Throttle Response Controller for my 2022 Ford F150 XLT PowerBoost pickup. Installation couldn't be easier, and it only took me about 5 minutes. You simply undo the connector at the gas pedal and put this unit in between the two connections. I was able to tuck the unit in behind the center console, so it was neatly out of the way. The iOS app that controls the unit is available in the app store and once installed and launched, it finds the controller easily. There are four settings and nine adjustments for each of the settings. My main reason for installing this controller was to achieve better fuel economy. Without the unit I was able to get about 24-25 MPG in city and highway driving. When I set the unit to the F'n Slow setting and adjust it to -3 or -4 adjustment, I up those figures to about 28 MPG. That's pretty amazing for a 3.5 liter twin-turbo V6 hybrid. When set to the FN Send It setting and adjusted to the +4 adjustment, it will just spin the wheels with the slightest touch of the throttle. You can manage to launch the truck without wheel spin but it's just a crazy quick setting. The FN Cruise setting is much more manageable and "driver friendly". This thing rocks and I'm saving fuel on my long trips as well as just tooling around town. When I want to play, I can go crazy.

Plug and play install. Makes the pedal respond to pressure like it should from the factory. They brag about the horsepower, but then electronically delay/restrict it. This little box fixes this nonsense.

For the record, "Throttle Commander" and "Fn Tuned" are the same company, in case there was any confusion. I thought perhaps there might be. But moving on to this review...There might be some confusion as to just what, exactly, this product does. Easy. It plugs into the wires that go to your gas pedal (they don't have cables anymore), and it changes the throttle voltages the ECU receives. At idle, this circuit would see 0 volts, at 50% throttle roughly 2.5 volts, and at 100% throttle, it should see 5 volts. So, the farther you push down the throttle, the more voltage your ECU sees. Easy enough so far?This changes all those voltages. At 50% throttle, instead of sending 2.5 volts to the ECU, it ups that voltage to, say, 3.5 or 4.0 volts. So you push down so far on the pedal, and the car thinks you're pushing harder on the pedal than you actually are.Can you imagine how dangerous that might be backing out of your garage? Or parking in tight spaces? 50% throttle when you want 10% throttle can be a lot of fun (not) in the right (wrong) circumstances. Know what I mean?So, if you want something that will make it feel like you've pushed down 3/4 of the way on your pedal when you've pushed down 1/4 of the way, then this is the device for you. Personally, I only recommend it for race tracks or off-road where too much gas pedal won't smack you into something you don't want to smack into. I do NOT recommend it for a daily driver for obvious reasons. As this draws all of its power from the 5v instrumentation power supply, it can put too much demand on that rather limited system, and if it happens to fail while driving, so will your engine, potentially creating a very hazardous situation.Off road? Fun to play with. Daily driver? Get something that gets power from the OBD port.
