So Why do you need FT?
The ETC in your Tundra determines how MUCH the throttle body will open and how FAST it will open. So when you press the gas pedal down fully, the throttle blade will only open to 80% and opens at a speed the computer thinks is best. This is how acceleration is controlled and limited in ETC vehicles. This is our engineer’s way of saying it doesn’t matter how quickly you floor the gas pedal; there will still be a lag in your throttle response.
This is what FT is built for! FT plugs directly into the Accelerator Pedal Position Sensor (PPS) located on the gas pedal. FN Tuned then takes the information from the PPS and sends it up to 1000 times faster to the ECU and throttle body. By doing this, FN Tuned allows you to eliminate the throttle delay from your accelerator (gas pedal) and allows your engine to respond faster. The difference is unparalleled! Slöw

This mode has is slower than the other modes, but it's tougher and able to handle all types of terrain like snow, rain, mud, dirt, etc. It is the perfect mode to take your Tundra on adventures!
Cruise

Super easy to install. Downloaded the app very clear very understanding super easy to create an account. I noticed more HP right from the get go . MPG went up 2.5 which is great for me because if your a Tundra owner with the 5.7 you know your gas mileage is not the best around ok. Send it mode was definitely that! I just had to put it Send it mode and turn it up all the way of coarse cuz that’s what I do and WOW !!!! My truck took off like a bat out of hell. Killer product and I definitely recommend checking it out . 2016 Tundra Crewmax 5.7

Actual physical installation of the interface took less than three minutes. It is connects so easy as a "y" cable and that is ALL! As far as the app, just download and register. Very simple to go from the box to burning rubber OR saving fuel. The app lets you choose and this WAY easier than programming your ECU, spending a ton of cash, etc. After a full month I have notice a decent MPG increase (the key to better MPG is forcing the driver to slow it all down lol).

This F.T. Throttle response controller is a great addition to my 2019 Tundra Platinum with the 5.7 V8. The engine is known to be reliable, but many struggle with the lack of acceleration off the line. Tow-Haul mode is one factory option that can improve throttle response, but this F.T. Controller takes it to another level. It’s very customizable, giving multiple adjustments to each of the presets available in the app.Installation was easy, there’s a plug easily accessible at the top of the accelerator pedal. You just remove it, plug the female side into the OEM wire you removed going to the pedal plug, and then the other end of the wire (male end) into the OEM Pedal plug. I just put the box for the response controller behind the piece of carpet you see there in the right on the pictures, but they did include two zip ties to secure it somewhere.First drive I put it in F. Fast mode, and this was a noticeable difference in throttle response even with a gentle press of the pedal. I then tried the F. Send It mode, and that was an extreme throttle response. It would easily spin the tires off a standing launch. I find cruise mode to be near stock, and they even have a slow mode which you really had to press the pedal to get moving at higher rpm’s. I think the slow mode would be great for highway driving without cruise control.Overall a fun product; and if you’re looking to wake up your tundra this will do it!
