These worked perfect for putting on both my Thule and Yakima Wing shaped racks. I give 4 stars because not everything i needed came in the kit. I had to take the flat bar that slides up and down the Bike rack and cut it in half to split it so the spreader bar could fit around the rack. No biggie if you can do that, but i imagine not everyone has that ability. Otherwise, works great!

I'm not sure the model number of my bike tray, suffice it to say it is quite old. My bike trays are designed to work with a square rack, but I have the aero bars. I bought two quits for my two bike trays. The installation instructions require reusing many parts from the original bike tray, and as mentioned my tray isn't the one they are designed to replace. As such the bolts included are not long enough to make the adapter work. using two adapters I was able to get one bike tray on my aero bars, not two. If the bolts had only been a half inch longer they would have worked as described which is very vexing. I had to salvage some of the hardware from my second bike tray just to make one work. The metal tab IS wide enough to go around the aero bar so that's something I suppose. Will not buy again.

Works as described! I have OEM VW roof racks, so the front bolts fit perfectly into T rails of the OEM rack. but on the rear, the Thule bolts were too short to go around the VW rack. I went to the hardware store and simply bought some longer M6 bolts and they worked perfectly with the Thule plastic wingnuts.

Work well with the aero bars and seem to snug up nicely. They should be included it the kits and not sold separately.

These clips work fine, but I think it is an outrage that they are an extra-cost item rather than being bundled with the bicycle tray/rack. Thule's web page is confusing and does not show when a particular roof-top device needs an adapter like this. And I have had very poor response from their tech help ("We have not tested this product with XYZ."). The Thule products are great but the USA support is lame. Ah, well.

What really is there to say about five little pieces of metal? It works. I bought this for my echelon bike carrier for my factory MINI Cooper rack and it works. The standard rear bolts that came with the bike rack weren't quite long enough for the MINI bars, but the bolts from a different Thule product were, so this adapter kit being sold for the purpose it is intended for gets 5 stars from me.
