I used this to install the Thule Yepp Mini (not Nexxt) on my mountain bike (medium frame). Feels high quality and sturdy. A slack headtube angle will cause the seat to lean back a bit, but my 68 degree headtube wasn’t too bad. You will need a little length on the stem to fit the U-shaped-bracket. Might also want a set of stem spacer rings to adjust the height (the bracket is very thin but does add some thickness, so need a little space on the steerer tube. On my bike it was fine as is).

Kinda ridiculous that this isn't the standard instead of the quill stem version. I found the angle of this is too steep for most mountains bikes (slacker head angles) which tilts the seat too far back into the rider. I put it in a vise and bent it 15 degrees or so which makes the seat level.

The Ahead adapter doesn’t fit my Mini Yepp, unable to lock in place. The original standard adapter fits perfectly so there seems to be an issue with the Ahead adapter. Can the seller please contact me to resolve this as there is no option here to contact seller?

In simple terms, the assembly was blatantly misaligned and incompetent. Any type of quality assurance would have caught this but there appears to have been none. Dont trust your kid's life to this. One screw was obviously misaligned and over tightened and the other under screwed. This type of stress on ABS plastic would cause a crack and a catastrophic break resulting in a dropped baby. In an attempt to fix the assembly, I almost broke my wrist with the power tools. My own weight of 195lbs was not enough to over come the misaligned bolt. I luckily stayed cautious and kept a loose grip. My advice. Dont sell a product for 9 month olds to 2 year olds without checking the quality of your work. You're in the wrong business. You deserve to be taken out and delisted. Dont buy this product if you care for your kid they obviously dont care about their own.

Works as it should and allowed me to use the seat with my fork stem, which wasn't possible with the original base

I love this seat design. My little girl is tiny so I think we will get a lot of miles out of it. However the mounts are terrible. I bought this adapter for my mountain bike and it would not work. I did however utilize the latch part to fabricate a new adapter. Works great, just needs some paint. So if you are handy or are in the business of making seat adapters, take look at my design.

Needed this for our mountain bike (Rocky Mountain brand). Was easy to install and works well. Having said that, the Yepp Mini is a bit of a challenge on the mountain bike in general. I'm 5'8 (female) and I have a hard time clearing my son and being comfortable on the handlebars. My husband is 6 ft and has to carry our son.

This does exactly what it is supposed to do, but the whole system doesn't work on my drop handle bar bike. I ride a cannondale caad8. I'm 5'9" so I thought maybe I could get away with this seat because I love it, but there isn't enough width on my stem. I'm so sad because this seat has a high back but it's just not small enough.

I love the Yepp mini, so does my son. May of the reviewers for the seat complained that it did not work with their bike. The seat is made by a Dutch company for Dutch style commuter bikes that have a threaded stem. (Google vintage bike and look at the handle bars if you don't know what this means). This adapter makes the Yepp work with the thread less stem found on most non-comfort/cruiser bikes in the US. Note: If your bike is a small to medium frame and you lean forward to ride it, you may still find that the Yepp mini does not work well with your bike geometry.
