There is a weak connection where the ball joint meets the strap clip (that clips to the SUP). It popped out on first use. No customer support on Amazon.

Have tried other straps for my paddle board but prefer this style. Highly recommend!

I wish I had bought this sooner as the first time I used it I was amazed at how much easier it made carrying my SUP. The strap appears to be of a high quality that is built to last

There are some hidden features on this strap that doesn't seem to be obvious. In some of the pictures the SUP paddle is shown somehow attached at the bottom of the board. For me, the loops near the swivel clips are big enough that I can just slip the paddle through there and carry it with the SUP. I don't need extra keepers for my paddle. In one picture, there is a piece of webbing shown with two orange rows of stitching. Besides giving extra structure, that piece of webbing and the stitching gives a convenient place to attach a carabiner on either side. So then you can dangle other items -- water bottle, etc.

This is a well made, durable strap that makes carrying my kayak to and from the water that much easier! It clips easily into the attachment points already on the board, and is just as easy to detach. This is the kayak I ordered - https://www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B099S4443V/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1 - and I recommend it, and this strap to help carry it.I'm sure this will work just as well for a SUP as it is intended for, but if you fish from an inflatable kayak like I do, this is a must have piece of gear.

I was very excited to get this ThursoSurf carry-strap. It is high-quality and seems highly durable. It's very easy to clip on/off my SUP's D-rings.The problem is the distance between my D-rings are at the outer limits of this carry strap's bounds (I have a BlueFin 10'8" SUP) -- so even if I maximize the adjustment it's pretty tough to then get it on my shoulder and get my arm thru. And my husband's arm definitely can't fit thru the available space.Sadly this strap doesn't really work for me since it doesn't extend long enough to comfortably use. But if you have a board which has close enough D-rings this is a great carry strap for your SUP!

I've clipped this puppy onto various D rings on my board, and adjusted the length a hundred different ways trying to find that elusive sweet spot where I could really rely on the weight-bearing properties of the strap to trot my paddleboard through the woods as I have to in order to put in at the little park at the end of my street. And well, yeah, not finding it all that advantageous. It slips off my shoulder every time. I've even tried wearing it sort of cross-body, which is a good way to asphyxiate yourself lol.Not sure if it's user error, but given the number of ways I've configured this, I tend to think it's just all that helpful. Most paddleboards are heavier on one end than the other, so learning which way to carry each board is its own thing. Once you've got that, the strap will need to be adjusted for the right fit on your shoulder. But here's what I've found. Wear it short so it takes the weight off your wrist and hand, and it will bobble as you walk and fall off your shoulder. Wear it longer, and you'll just end up carrying the board the normal way, now with a strap falling down on you.I've decided to just use this good-quality strap for other stuff, but not sure I'd pay 25 bucks for it.

I was having a hard time carrying the SUP with just using the single handle. This solves that. The strap is made of high strength nylon. This will not break or fray. Adjustable.Rust-free swivel clips are great. They are like caraniners which fasten to the D rings of your SUP.Love the rubber mesh back. It gives a little cushion and also prevents the strap from sliding off your shoulder. Wishing it had more padding in it.Everything is water-resistant. Stitching is impeccable.I also plan to use this with my 40L roll top compression sack which has the ordinary strap which digs in to my shoulder and bruises my skin.Happy of this order.

FIRST IMPRESSION/CONTENTS:The Paddle Board/SUP Adjustable Padded Carrying Strap from THURSO SURF arrived in a giftable box.The strap is clearly strong, the stitching is more than adequate for this use, and it has the right amount of neoprene padding (neither too little, nor too much) which also keeps it from slipping around. The quality is self-evident when you see this.Prior to purchase, however, it would be wise to confirm your SUP has D-rings, and that they are in a useful location. Without them, you'll not be able to use the strap. Further, if they're both located close to the rear (or front) of your SUP, the strap's usefulness will be negligible at best. Not much point with just a strap at the end as you'd essentially be attempting to carry the entire SUP ahead (or behind you).As I noted above, the quality is there, however, whether a "strap" is worth $55 (plus tax) is up to you to decide.I hope you found this review helpful to your decision making.

This SuP strap is amazing! It's double and triple stitched and the padding is more than adequate to feel great on your shoulder. It is fully adjustable, and helps tremendously to carry my SuP. It fits on any D ring or molle attachment, and makes walking to the water with your SUP effortless. It is much more than a luggage strap because of the way that it is constructed and padded. I can highly recommend it!

It’s not that my SUP is too heavy for it, it’s awkward with the width and depth. I’m 5’ 2” and my arms just don’t quite reach around to grab the built in handle and be able to carry it easily. This should strap is a life saver and makes transporting so much easier. Once reaching the water, the strap is easily folded up and stored on the zip pocket on the backside of the seat. Without this shoulder strap, my time on the water would be greatly reduced.Highly recommended for everyone, especially if you’re either short like me or you have a long distance to trek to the water.
