Amazing value for the cost. This little bowl feels like a little magic golden goblet! The instructions mention that it takes a little practice because smaller bowls typically can't sing, but this one sounds pure, relaxing and deep. I have been using now for a few days at my office during my breaks and it has really helped me to just slow down and find my groove. The build quality is solid, well made and has so much attention to detail. There are some small scuffs but most singing bowls have this and they are not so noticable. This is 100% giftable in its cute blue box. It functions like a high-quality instrument. I have already purchased 2 more for gifts. I love these simple-styled bowls from this company. It is like a modern take on an ancient art. I highly recommend.

I ordered the ZenSerenity Tibetan Singing Bowl Set – Lotus Edition because I love singing bowls. Upon receiving it, I have to say I think this bowl is my favorite. The tiny bowl and it's baby pillow fit right into the palm of your hand and are just adorable.Out of the cute mint green box you receive:1 each Tibetan singing bowl1 each silk mint green and gold bowl cushion1 each wooden mallet1 each instruction cardPer the Amazon ad, the Lotus Edition bowl symbolizes overcoming adversity and finding inner calm. You will definitely find calm when you hear the heavenly tone of this singing bowl. The bowl is 3.1 inch wide by 2.5 inch high and is handcrafted in Nepal out of special mix 80% copper and 20% tin. The metal of the bell is very thick and it is very well constructed. It is perfect in every way and makes the most beautiful sound when you strike it or run the mallet around the bowl. The instruction card tells you everything you need to know to make the bowl "sing". There is a lotus flower imprinted (dyed, burned?), onto the bottom of the bowl and one laser cut into the end of the wooden mallet. The mint green and gold silk cushion has a lotus on it's tag and has an indentation in the center to help keep the bowl in place. My one miniscule whine about this bowl is that the cushion sat a little wonky and required a lot of finessing to get it to sit straight. But it did not affect the sound of the bowl and was just my OCD issue.Overall, The ZenSerenity Tibetan Singing Bowl Set – Lotus Edition is really a step above others I have seen and it SCREAMS quality. This would make an excellent gift for every person in your life and at this price point, it is completely affordable. The sound it produces is beautiful and the set has such a small footprint that even the most minimalist household could find a space for this bowl set. I give it five stars and would give it 10 if I could.

This singing bowl looks exactly like the photos, beautifully crafted and very calming in appearance. The wooden striker feels a bit light and not the sturdiest, but it does the job. Since this is my first sound bowl, it took me a few tries to get it to work properly. I learned that the key is to gently strike the bowl first and then slowly circle the rim without lifting the stick. Once I got the hang of it, the sound was surprisingly powerful and soothing for such a small bowl. Great for meditation or a calming moment during the day. Altough could use better instructions for first timers :)

I am very, very impressed with this little singing bowl. This is my seventh singing bowl. I have two other cheap ones, but the others were much more expensive, hand-made, fair-trade bowls from a local charity. The resonance of this one is not too far off from some of my better ones. After striking the bowl, I can get all but 30 seconds of sound from it. Granted, by the end, it's extremely difficult to hear the noise. It also sets up good waves of sound at a pretty good volume as I circle the bowl with the mallet. It can be a little difficult to get this one singing. With a really good bowl, you don't have to strike it first. With this one, my best bet is to strike it and then start circling the bowl. If it's not working for you, placing the cushion somewhere else like on a table instead of your hand or moving the bowl on the cushion. That might be what the bowl needs. It can be a little temperamental for me depending on how it's seated. The only reason that I don't like this bowl as much as my better ones is that the note it produces doesn't speak to me to same way. If I didn't have other bowls to compare it to, I would be very happy with this one. When I play it along with my favorite bowl that always seems to actually be saying "om" when I play it, it falls far short. Of course, that one was all but $200 and only a couple of inches larger. Since I wasn't paying for handmade, fair trade quality with this one, I am very happy with this bowl. I don't have to worry too much about accidentally touching it at this price point which makes it less stressful for me to carry around and actually use.One thing I have to comment on is that I normally get the best sound when I circle a singing bowl slowly with a mallet. You have to feel for the speed that the bowl wants to resonate at and adjust your speed accordingly. I tend to have the best luck starting at a faster speed and slowing down until it takes me maybe a couple of seconds to go around the bowl. That's the exact opposite of what the instructions tell you to do for this one.

This is a super cute singing bowl. It is pretty difficult to keep the tone going once you've got it started. Aesthetically it's beautiful, the pillow is adorable. I like the initial tone when you tap it. I really wish the information would include what tone it is, or even the hz? I'd like to know what it's good for besides, "meditation" which seems pretty generic with any tone. I guess I don't know if this is just a gimmick or actually therapeutic.
