This would work fine for ties, but does not work well for suspendars. Nothing wrong with it, but does not serve what I needed.

Back in the day, I had a larger variety of ties. After retirement, I dumped them as I did not need them. Now a bit older, I attend enough funerals so that I need a tie more often. Such is life. Needed a tie rack for a few ties and this one works.

Bought it to display a product at craft shows. Looks nice but the side hooks aren't long enough for the bigger straps and the hook doesn't swivel so I can only put it on one part of the arm of my tent.

I mean.... it holds ties. It also hangs. All on it's own, I rarely if ever have to support it. So I would say it does what it needs to do.
