I love this tool. Sharp and sturdy and does the job on weeds. I did paint the handle bright red and clear coat to make it easier to find in tall weeds.

The blade of this tool is very nice metal but it arrived very dull and could not be sharpened by hand even after five minutes of stone grinding. The handle is so small and forces you to use only one hand. The angle and length of the blade require wrist tension which was painful for me. Given the price, these design issues should have all been resolved.

worked great would have given a 5 star I have a right hand, different brand, haven't used the lefty enough to get comfortable with it.Left handers learn to use rightys tools. The tool is longer then the other tool, that really doesn't make any difference. Like the wood handlebetter on the dewitt. Both shafts and blades are solid however the Dewitt steel is is not as thick as other. Don.t see that as a problem with either.

Works very well in flower beds - not as good with weeds in the grass but in a flower bed it goes nice and deep to get to the root of the weed and you can also pull it through to stir the soil as well. Its challenging to find a left-handed one!
