This filter is okay. I have a pair of sunglasses that have this sort of sepia tint and was looking for the equivalent in this filter so I could take pictures like I was seeing through my sunglasses. I guess I need a darker filter, maybe number 3? Otherwise, I got some nice slightly tinted photos from it. I guess the problem with buying online as opposed to brick and mortar, you could see the difference better in person.

I'm new to using filters, and I had purchased this Tiffen after falling in love with the tobacco colored filter that came in an introductory set of less expensive filters. So I ordered this one because I'd heard great things about Tiffen. The people I had talked with about it were NOT exaggerating. This filter is absolutely amazing, and I'm now a Tiffen fanatic. It's very well made, no cross threading, easy to attach -- goes on very smoothly. I will attach a photo.

Very nice filter received quickly and have used frequently since. Definitely does better than internal digital filters on my Panasonic G7. Be careful though threads are very fine.

I just purchased my first DSLR camera and was a little reluctant to start using filters right away, but after using this filter all I can say is wow!!! I paired it with my canon eos rebel T3i and the pictures look amazing! Tiffen has been around for a long time and you can certainly tell by the quality of their filters! I would definately recommend this to anyone who is ready to try something new with their camera!
