The face shield is expensive, but I have been using it to teach my foam sword martial art and it is fantastic. Cleans easily, clear vision, plenty of space to breathe, and definitely safe enough to handle a solid hit from a PVC-core foam sword.

Nice quality and my son is way more confident now because he had gotten pooped in the eye during a tournament. Now he has no fear! It is slightly annoying to get velcroed onto mask but once you get it started it's a little easier to install.

Just be aware that this item is only for the face shield and not the head gear. Sizing seems a little big to be for a child but this works with the Pro-Spar Head Guard and other smaller head. It comes with a wipe and pouch to keep scratches away from the face shield, so this was a great bonus. My child enjoys her weapons sparring and doesn't have to worry about injury or fogging up the shield.

Has a picture of the face shield and helmet but when I order it, it only comes with a face mask.

I had nasal surgery and searched and searched for a mask that wasn't open enough to get hit. If you've tried to find one, many are open in various areas of the face. This gave a good deal of clearance from my face to the shield. I ordered the child size, based on other reviews and it fits my adult helmet and then some. I'd assume the adult size would be a little longer and wider, with slightly more length to the attaching straps.There is some heft to the visor so it pulls the front down a bit. Possibly moving down to a tighter helmet might alleviate this. I like the fact that it looks like a hockey mask (as I'm used to those too). I've not attempted sparring yet as I'm not cleared for contact sports for another month, but will post as to performance once I'm able to get back into it. I didn't have a problem with the velcro as other reviewers had. For the sides, I put one through the small hole in front of the ear and one through the larger ear hole. Once I put the helmet on, I readjusted the straps so that it fit my face and was centered properly. The bottom black piece is foam padding, so you don't come in contact with any of the clear plastic edges.Mine did come with a bag and a wipe cloth. I also like the fact that the Tiger Claw logo is at the bottom so I won't be questioned for "illegal" gear. I couldn't find this anywhere else, so I'm thinking it was discontinued, which is a shame, because it's a really unique and good face shield that met my needs.
