The promised protective layer to prevent the cue stick from getting scratched is missing. It's just basic plastic and only covers one side, leaving the other unprotected. Once again, quality control seems to have been passed onto the buyer. As a result, I’m returning the favor with this review. And also sending it back.

I bought this for a friend’s birthday. He inserted the tip of an old stick in to it, and works great, it fits the stick tip securely. Each side has several options for use, such as different heights, and easy to use. Personally I like it better than the cheap brassy looking bridges, and what I appreciate more is the fact that it’s made in the USA! That sold me on it!
